Chapter 5

Brantley's Pov

I woke up on the couch and the memories of last night coming back to me. I felt someone move and looked down to see Addy asleep on my chest andvi couldn't help but to smile. I got my girl back and we made love for hours last night. I didn't want to wake her so I just watched her sleep until I heard a banging on the front door. Addy started to wake up and next thing I know I hear yelling...shit its Amber.

"What the hell is she doing her?" Addy asks me

"I don't know angel I promise" I say meaning it

Addy pulls my shirt on and a pair of sweats as she makes her way to the door. She opens the door and Amber is standing there looking pissed as hell.

"What do you want?" Addy asks her

"My fiance" Amber answers

"Your ex fiance" I correct her

"Why didn't you come home last night? And why is she in your shirt Brantley?  Oh my god you cheated on me?" Amber yells

"We aren't even together Amber. I broke up with you remember?" I say

"No" she says

"Wait Brantley I thought you said it was over?" Addy asks

"It is baby" I say

"I can't believe you...get out" she says

"What you can't be serious" I ask

"Get out...I was giving you a second chance and you lied" she spits

"But I..." me trying to tell her the truth

"I don't wanna hear it just leave" she yells crying.

Amber just smiles knowing she won and got her way. I grab my keys and phone and leave. As I'm going to my truck Amber is chasing after me. I ingore her and leave to go talk to moma.

Addy's Pov

I ant believe he lied and I was so happy until five minutes ago. I'm hurt and confused I don't know what to do I mean we made love last night and shit we didn't use protection. I can't take this right now I just can't ugh.

I went and took a shower and ate breakfast. Brantley has text and called about 200 times but I just ingore it. I hear a car pull up so I go to the front door to see Moma Becky getting out of her car.

"Theirs my Addy" she says smiling and giving me a hug

"Hey moma" I say smiling and hugging her back and inviting her inside.

"You have a lovely home baby" Moma Becky says smiling looking around.

"Thanks moma would you like some coffee or tea?" I ask

"Coffee would be great" she says following me into the kitchen.

We get into the kitchen and I put on a pot of coffee while moma sits at the table. I pour her a cuo just as she likes it and pour me a cup as I sit down to talk.

"Thanks baby" she says as I hand her the coffee cup.

"Your welcome moma...what brings you by?" I ask after taking a sip of my coffee.

"Brantley stopped by this morning real upset" she tells me before sipping her coffee and looking at me.

"Moma I...-" but she cuts me off

"Don't moma me missy. Now I don't know what has gotten into you but that boy loves you and for you to believe that girl over him is something else...do you hear me?" She says looking mad

"Yes ma'am but moma what am I supposed to believe with him breaking up with her then coming over here and sleeping with me? I just don't wanna get hurt again." I tell her crying

"Baby you know Brantley has never cheated on no one. That boy camebto my house crying and you know Brantley doesn't cry but he thinks he lost you for good this time over Amber because she can't let go." Moma says looking worried.

"Moma can I get a ride to your house?" I ask

"Of course baby" she says as I grab my phone and keys to lock up.

We pull up at Moma Becky's house and thank god Brantley is still there. We walk in and Brantley is sitting on the sofa with Kolby and Daddy Keith is in the recliner.

"Well if it isn't Addy bug" Daddy Keith says smiling and giving me a hug

"Hey daddy" I say hugging him back

"Can we talk?" I ask looking at Brantley

He doesn't say anything he just gets up and walks outside. As I walk by moma she smiles and patts my shoulder. I walk outside and Brantley is heading toward the trail to go to the pond.  We walk in silence to the pond and when we get there I have tears in my eyes.

"Brantley I'm sorry" I say through tears but he says nothing.

"Brantley I'm sorry I believed her over you. I know you would never cheat on anyone. Its just you broke up with her then came over and we slept together and it was amazing but I thought it was to good to be true. To have my dream job and the man I love that I know something or someone would ruin it. I'm sorry" I say still crying

Brantley doesn't say nothing but what he does takes me off guard. He crushes his lips to mine and puts his hands on my hips. We soon get into a heated make out session and his hands leave my hips and goes to my ass as he picks me up and takes me to a place beside the pond. We make love and after we just lay there holding each other.

"I love you Addy" Brantley says kissing my forehead

"I love you too" I say

We walk back to the house hand in hand. By the time we got back moma had supper cooked and saw us coming in holding hands, she just smiles. We ate supper with moma, daddy and Kolby talked about everything. I helped moma clean the kitchen then we watched tv with them for a few hours.

We left momas and went to Brantley's house. We took a shower and crawled in bed with Sylo. We went to bed in each others arms.
