*Beep Beep Beep*
Ahh the sweet sound of my alarm clock. (Note the sarcasm) Today's the day I leave for college. I get up and check my email, to see if my roommate, Kyle, emailed me back.
Kyle: Hey, so today's the day you move in, right?
Ariana: Yup, I really hope you're not pervert or something
Kyle: Nope but I can't believe I'm moving in with a girl
Ariana: well believe it
Kyle: Okay well I'm gonna bring home some girls
Ariana: Figured
Kyle: Okay good and I'm not gonna stop if you tell me to
Ariana: Ok?
Kyle: You got the key I sent you right?
Ariana: Yes
Kyle: Well okay bye
I didn't answer back after that I just went to get ready. I get of my laptop and head to the bathroom. Once I'm in, I turn on the shower and strip my clothes off. I hop in and let the hot water run throughout my body. I wash myself and my hair. I also brushy teeth in there, I think it saves more time. I get out of the shower and wrap a towel around me. I dry off and go back into my room, I grab my outfit and put it on. Nike sweatpants, Grey tanktop, and nike sandals w/ socks. I know what you are all thinking "Why is she wearing sweatpants? What if Kyles hot? And look what she's wearing." In all honesty I don't dress to impress.
After getting changed I walk down the stairs to find my mother making breakfast.
"Morning" I say
"Darling sweetheart, when are you leaving?" She asks
"In an hour or so" I say
"Why are you dressed in your pajamas go change right this instant" she yells
"I'm not in my pajamas mom I'm leaving like this"
"Oh no you are not. I will not allow my daughter to look like a street bum" she says.
"Mummm" I whined "I don't look like a street bum" I augured
"Yes you do I'm not letting you leave like that go change into something presentable, I don't want your dorm roommate to think you dress like this" she says.
I didn't exactly tell my mom that I'm moving in with a boy. She thinks I'm living in a dorm. She'd probably kill me if she found out.
"Mum I don't see what the problem is"
"Why are you talking back to me? You NEVER talk back. What has gotten into you?"
*HONK HONK*
"Mum I got to go love you" I say as I walk up to hug her
"Okay, bye but call me when you get there" she says and I just nod my head and drag my suitcases out the door. My best friend Courtney, Court for short (Ahh see what I did there) was outside with her cute pink buggie. I walked out and put my stuff in the back.
"You are a life saver" I say
"Why"
"Cause my mum was trying to make me change" I say
"Ya I was about to comment on your outfit"
"It's perfectly fine" I say
"Nope here change into this" Court said while handing me pre ripped white jeans. I did as told and change while keeping on the nike slippers and tanktop.
"Oh and here I cannot let you where slippers" she says while handing me a pair of grey Vans.
"Okay let's goooo" I say and just like that we're off.
