Chapter 6

I was shocked. I was not expecting him to say that. This meant that I could have him. Wait. That can't happen because one of us ,or both of us are going to die in the games so it's practically impossible.

" Phil I am fine with you being gay. I'm glad you trust me enough to tell me this."

"Really????" He asked excitedly. "Wow that's awesome. Usually when I tell people that they call me a faggot and leave."

What the fuck. Who the fuck would do that to him. That is fucked up.

"I would never do that to you. I know how it feels to be called a faggot and I know it fucking sucks and I would never call anyone that, especially you Phil."

"Thank you Dan, and one more thing."

"Yeah." I asked.

"Did you get called a faggot because you are gay or did they think that you were gay?"

"They called me that because I am gay."

" Oh. As you can probably guess I am perfectly fine with you being gay too." Phil said being so nice and caring about it.

"Thank you."

We did some more training for a couple more hours and then it was over and now I had to say my goodbye to Phil.

"See ya Phil, I'll see you at that Caesar interview thing tonight."(SORRY I FORGET WHAT IT IS CALLED.)
Phil leaned in and pecked me on the cheek and said. "Yeah see you tonight." He winked and went to his mentor. Holy shit. He kissed me on the cheek. HOLY FUCKING SHIT. Ok I have to calm down it was only a kiss on the cheek. He was probably just being friendly. But what about the wink at the end. I don't know I'll think about it later.

I went back to the apartment to see everyone sitting at the table about to eat food. So I walked over there and sat done in the seat beside Mea.

"Hello Daniel, we were just waiting for you to get here before we start eating, I thought it would be nice to wait on you." Avea said with a grin on here face the entire time.

I swear to god I have never seen her without a smile on her face. It is actually creepy.

"Thank you Avea. Now, shall we eat?" I asked.

"We shall."

We ate in silence for a few minutes until Finnick finally decided to talk about the interviews which were tonight.

"So after we eat, you two are going to go upstairs with your stylists and they are going to show you the outfit you are going to ware tonight. Then you are going to put those on and come done stairs and we will go to the interviews. I will tell you where to go on the way there."

Mea and I nodded and continued eating our food. Once we were done we went back to our rooms with our stylists following us. when I got to my room my stylist Autumn walk over to my closet any took out a light blue suit with a white with black polkadots bow tie and a black dress shirt underneath it.

"So do you like it????" Autumn asked.

"I love it." no I don't.

"Yaaaaaaay! I'll be downstairs waiting."

She left my room and went downstairs. I quickly changed into my horrible outfit and went downstairs where everyone is waiting on us. I see that I am the first one downstairs so I just sit on the couch with everyone else and wait for Mea.

After what felt like 3 hours of waiting for her she finally came downstairs with a light blue dress with white polkadots and black heals. she looked amazing.

"You look beautiful." Mea's stylist said.

"Thank you."

"Yeah you look nice." I said.

"Thank you Daniel. You too."

After that we all went to the car that we were going to the interviews in. Once we got in the car, Finnick explained what we do when we get there.

"Ok so what you are going to do is you just go straight to the line of tributes waiting to be interviewed and that's it, but you have to be in district order so Dan will be last and Mea you will be the first to go for you too, ok?

"Alright." I said.

Mea nodded and looked out the window. a few minutes later and we were there. We all got out of the car and Mea and I went to the line to see everyone there. I don't looked at Phil yet because I want to wait and see him right before I go up there. I know that is really fucking stupid but it is how it is.

About 30 minutes later and Mea goes up there and does her interview. From what I barley heard she sounded confident which I was very surprised at because she is the most unconfident person I know but, ah well.

After about 5 minutes of that it was finally my turn to go. Ceasar called my name and I started going up there, but before I turned around to see Phil. He mouthed good luck to me and I mouthed back you too.

I went up to the stage and looked at the crowd. Wow they were all classy idiots. Caeser shook my hand and we both sat down. That was when stuff started to get personal.

"So Dan, do you have any family back home that you want to get back to?" Caeser asked.

"Yes I do." I said.

"And who is that?" Caeser asked.

"My mom." I said

"No bothers or sisters?"

"Nope"

"Outstanding."

The croud cheered at that. I still don't get why. It's not that entertaining or outstanding.

"So if you won, what would you do." Caeser asked.

"To be honest I have never really thought of that. I guess I would just be greatful be alive."

"Terrific answer!" Caeser practicly yelled.

"And one more question, will we be seeing you in and alliance, or are you flying solo."

"um...........I think so."

"Who with?" Caeser asked.

"Phil."
