EDIT: I wrote this a long time ago and Finland is SUPER OOC, it's really bad. ^^ I apologize for the inaccuracy, but enjoy!

Also, Google translate sucks and I can't speak Swedish or Finnish so if I get any translations wrong, I'm sorry, and you can tell me the correct translations if you know. Also, I'm sorry but Russia is the bad guy in this story and don't get me wrong, I LOVE Russia but he kinda fit so...

Thanks for reading!

It was a beautiful, sunny but cold day on December 18th and there was a clear, blue sky overhead. The representation of Finland was just walking out of the conference building and smiled at the nice weather. All of the nations had been predicting a dreary day with 3 inches of snow at a minimum, but instead, there wasn't a cloud in sight. It was the last day of this month's world meeting, and Finland was finally allowed to leave with the rest of the Nordics and go back to Scandinavia. So far, he was the only one of the five nothern nations outside, or at least that he could see. As soon as the meeting had let out Norway walked off down a hallway in the opposite direction of the exit saying that he needed to find Denmark, who was god knows where at this point. Iceland had quietly followed, seeing as he did find Norway's constant frustration with Denmark amusing. As for Sweden, he had no idea where he had gone off too, all he kenw was that he wasn't anywhere in sight. It made the Finnish nation the slightest bit nervous, he felt vulnerable without Sweden right behind him. It wasn't because he couldn't stand up for himself, because he could, he just wasn't used to it anymore. The Swede had been looking out for him for quite a long time, and he had grown accustomed to it. He let out a small sigh and leaned against a tree that had been planted in front of the building, part of a perfectly organized arrary. He didn't have any choice to but to wait for him, and he didn't feel like going back into the mess of nations to look for him. He leaned back and enjoyed the silence, something he hadn't heard in a few hours.

"NORGE DON'T DO THIS!" A sudden shriek rang out, shattering the silence that Finland had been admiring for the last few moments. It was umistakebly Danish, and Finaldn couldn't say he was surprised. As if on cue the owner of the voice flew by in a flash of black and red, which was without a doubt Denmark. He was being followed by a surprisingly calm and collected Norway with an equally as calm Icelandic boy trailing a few feet behind him, both of them were somehow keeping pace with the hyperactive nation in front, who was already halfway around the building. Finland blinked a couple times in surprise and then shook his head, sighing once again. Typical Nordics.

"It's chilly, Da?" A thick Russian came from out of nowhere, ruining any chance of peace and quiet for Finland. Once Russia walked up to him with an eerily friendly smile, his heart immediately started to pound. Of all the people to talk to without Sweden around, it had to be Russia. It's not like he was afraid of Russia, he had given him a run for his money once or twice over the course of history, but that didn't mean he wanted to be talking to him with no one else around at all.

"U-uh yes, it is," he said as innocently and nicely as possible, hoping tht his politeness would bore Russia, or at least keep him from doing anything weird or scary. It didn't though, and he put his arm next to the blonde's head casually, is if it were a norma occurence and he smiled that creepy childlike smile of his, his face drawing closer and closer to the smaller blonde's.

"I could help warm you up, you could become one with Mother Russia," He purred, his usual propsal not a surprise to the Scandinavian. Even as predicatable as it was, Finland shuddered at the idea and the closeness between the two, and he started looking around frantically for any sign of Sweden.

"U-um..." The Finnish nation stammered, not knowing what to say in this situation. He didn't want to flat-out reect Russia nad make the situation worse for himself, but he couldn't agree to anything either. Who knows where that would get him. He peered over the taller's shoulder, trying to get a glimpse of Sweden, but much to his dismay, he was still nowhere to be found.

"Da?" Russia asked hopefully and even a little sadistically, consequently causing Finland to be even more nervous than he had been just a few seconds ago.

"No thanks..." He nearly squeaked, hoping he wasn't about to get the intimidating Russian pissed off.  He failed however, and he knew this as soon as he saw Russia's eyes narrow and his smile become wider, making him seem all the more threatening.

"I think you meant Da, right?" Russia asked in a low voice. Finland was about to respond until he felt an arm slip around his waist, protectively pulling him closer to the owner. His heart stopped for a moment and he froze with wide eyes, thinking it was Russia's arm until he looked down to see a gloved hand with a dark, navy blue coat sleeve.

"Su-san!" He exclaimed happily, smiling brightly up at Sweden, relieved that he was finally there. He wrapped his arm around the taller's torso, his other hand clutching the back of the blue coat tightly. He took a step behind the Swede and nuzzled into his side, feeling safer and protected in less than a second. Sweden allowed the ghost of a small smile cross his lips as he squeezed the other's shoulder, reassuringly pulling him closer. Once he was sure that Finland was secure behind him, he sent a dark look towards Russian, who had dared to look up at him with a challenging glint in his eyes. He chuckled mockingly at them and looked down to Finland, that creepy smile not once leaving  his face. Sweden caught the way Russia was looking at the smaller nation in under his arm and he narrowed his eyes, taking a step to the side so he was standing in front of Finland instead of beside him.

"Leave him alone," He said, his voice sounding close to a  growl. His tone was dark enough and threatening enough to send a shiver down Russia's spine, and Finland sighed in relief when he turned around without another word or glance in his direction, walking away at a brisk pace.

"Thank you Su-san!" He cheered happily as soon as Russia was out of earshot. "I knew you would rescue me," he added in a much quieter voice as he smiled up at Sweden like he was some sort of savior, which at the moment, he was exactly that.

A red tint dusted across Sweden's face at the other's words, he never got tired of seeing that same, grateful smile on his face whenever he did something for him. He sucessfully held back a smile that had threatened to crawl onto his lips as he enveloped Finland into a protective hug, holding him tight to his chest so he knew that he wasn't going to let anything happen to him.

Finland giggled at that and he leaned up to give the larger nation a sweet kiss on the cheek before worming his way out of the hug to take his hand. The flight back to Scandinavia was leaving in a couple hours, and he knew that if they didn't find the others soon, they would be late. After all, traffic would be rough since most of the nations had book a flight at the same airport. Finland intertwined their fingers together and he gave his hand a small tug, looking around for any sign of the other three nations.

"We have to find the other's or we'll be late," he said as an explanation, standing on his tip-toes and craning his neck to try and get a better view. Sweden supposed he must have caught sight of one of them because he gave his hand another tug and took a few steps foward, waiting for Sweden to follow. He nodded and followed after Finland with no hesitation, trying to ignore the fast-paced beating of his heart. Finland was so cute, and he couldn't take it.

"Finland," He mumbled to get his attention. Finland turned around with a questioning look and a happy little smile, one that Sweden hoped would never leave his lips.

"Yes Su-mmph!" Sweden leaned down and tilted his head to pres his lips against Finland's gently, giving him a soft and caring kiss. The smaller blonde returned his kiss easily, standing up on his tip-toes again to wraped his arms his neck, pulling himself close. Sweden took advtantage of this and he bent down, sliding one arm around his back and the other under his legs, swooping him up bridal style and carrying him as if he weighed nothing.

"Rakastan sinua" The Fin giggled into his chest, thankful that Sweden was strong enough to carry him so easily.

"Jag älskar dig också." Sweded replied, giving his forehead a soft kiss as he walked off to go find the other Nordics with Finland safe in his arms.

Jag älskar dig också
