JoJo's bizarre adventure - Fate's Chosen Vacation

Chapter 1

Airport Athens, August 30th 1969
The airport is filled with Taxis, the drivers searching for tourists to come out of the Doors just to finally have a decent income. One of the tourists coming out seemed very special, a couple who had only one Suitcase, a backpack and a big, old Saxophone. The woman looks around with eyes that have never seen a place like this. She is surprised by the low number of tourists in greece. While watching, the man leaves his package on the ground next to his wife.

"Holy, I want you to stay here and watch the package please.", he said to her. "I'll look out for a Taxi which doesn't look like scamming us, and please look especially out for my Saxophone." His appearance of the man seemed stressed, feeling like he was put in the wilds without getting told, even though he was the one planning the flight.

"Sadao.", said Holy with a voice which doesn't seem to be that she is happy about his question. She took the Saxophone, gave it to Sadao, took the suitcase and smiled at him with satisfaction. "Now you don't need to worry about our packages getting stolen, and i can finally see this unique country." She gave Sadao a kiss on his mouth and told him to call her out when he found a Taxi for the two of them.

Sadao was looking like he would disagree but a look on her face and her stomach made the stressing and worrying thoughts of Sadao vanish within a millisecond. He smiled, turned around and looked out. "But don't go too far away from here, okay?", he shouted but Holy didn't answer and was already stuck in concern of the area.

Outside the airport are hotels and restaurants, a tour guide information centre and many people sitting with suitcases on benches. Without hesitation, Holy went from person to person, asking them where they come from and if they like it here. She shows her admiration of the people she is asking. At the beginning, they were confused and even in some cases scared but shortly after they have started to have a good conversation. The people around also admired her appearance, a boy on the other benches even showed a sign of falling in love with her and couldn't stop staring at her.

When asking a family why they came to Greece, the mother pointed at a poster on the pillar, it's a man with a tanktop and a medal on his hand with the expression of success. The poster is advertising for the upcoming European Athletics Tournament.
"My husband is a huge sports fan and always travels around the world to see celebrities and upcoming world records live in his presence.", she said. Both of them look at the man playing with his 6 year old daughter and 4 year old son. The oldest son stayed with the mother.

"Oh really?", Holy said. "We came here with the same reason", she added on. The woman was surprised by her answer. "But you're alone Ms.Kujo'', said one of the children. "Marco!", the woman shouted, "I'm very sure she has her husband somewhere, it would be a shame to let her pregnant wife be lonely in a country." Holy was surprised by the woman's answer. The woman released her expression and panicky excuses herself, feeling embarrassed. Holy laughed and said that it's fine. "It's not often that someone sees that i'm pregnant or tells me at least because it seems to be a private subject." "How long?", the woman asked. "Three and half a month, the doctor said the baby will come in February. Jotaro if it's a boy and Jolyne if it's a girl." The mother called her husband and told her about Holy being pregnant and also going to the Tournament. "Oh that's really cool, who do you think will win?", the man asked overwhelmed. "Actually, I am not really a sportsfan, the reason why we came was because my husband Sadao has a Jazz-Performance for the Tournament. "Your husband is Sadao?!", the man was surprised, his appearance changed to a teenager being in front of their favourite celebrity. "I thought Sadao's wife would be japanese but I was wrong at all.", he said. Holy laughed.

"Holy! I got one, come here, we're waiting for you.", screamed Sadao. The family next to Holy was amazed to see him here, said Holy goodbye and asked her if she could tell her husband that they like their music.
At the Taxi, there was a nice man who took the suitcase and the backpack, putting it in the back of the car. When asking Sadao to hand him the Saxophone, he refused. "I'd rather have it with me if that's okay.", he mentioned. The driver laughed and nodded. The man helped Holy to get into the taxi. "You really chose a beautiful woman mister, you're really lucky", the driver said. In the Taxi, Sadao told the driver their location while Holy watched out of the window.

"You know", the Taxi-driver beginned. "you really saved my day." Holy and Sadao were concerned by what he just said. "It's not common anymore to have customers as a taxi-driver, you really have to be lucky." ,he said.

In 1967, Greece was ruled by the Military, the consequences of that dictatorship was the damage of their economy. The number of Tourists per year decreased by 40%. The country fell into high depts, inflation was coming and the inhabitants suffered. The suffering led to the 100 thousand greek people per year leaving the country for their good. Their destinations were the north, wealthier countries, as an example: Germany. In 1969 tho, the numbers in Greece went better. On the one hand, they got help from the wealthy countries by doing contracts about keeping the environment clean and safe, which they of course could not keep. On the other hand, to let the numbers of tourists rise, they deployed to organize the European-Athletics-Tournament. The government's plan worked out but no one knew if that would actually keep the economy from not falling again.

The Taxi driver giggled, watching the Saxophone of Sadao from the rear view mirror. "Tell me Sir, what is that Saxophone for you, that you keep it by yourself longer than your wife?" Sadao immediately cracks , Holy next to him chuckled. Sadao tried to get his voice. With light red cheeks, he explained: "Well...uhm. This Saxophone was a birthday present I got when I was about to have my first public performance in highschool. That day really made a mark in my Jazz-Career. This Instrument is my companion when i have performances, and also for the performance in the tournament, I want to be sure that it will be a good one." Holy held his hand, looking at him. "But I am the more important companion, right?". Sadao realizes what Holy is doing and affirms nervously. Holy kisses him afterwards. "Just kidding, i know that your Saxophone is important to you." The Taxi driver seemed satisfied with his answer.

Entering the hotel, the woman at the services registered them. She took their luggage and led them to their room.

Outside the Hotel, a car arrives, with a man dressed like a chauffeur, looking at a picture. That picture shows Sadao and Holy drawn at the airport with the Taxi and his identification number. The man recognized a glimpse of Holy with Sadao going with the woman to their room. The man decided to get again into the car.
The woman gave Sadao the key for their room and wished them a nice stay.

In the Hotelroom, Sadao checked the rooms, and Holy went to the bed, taking a rest. "Finally", she said. Sadao looked out of the window. He watches worried the people on the street passing by.

"Do you really think it was a good idea to keep this a secret from your father? You know, even though he has a certain urge about our relationship, we could at least let him know about our vacation here. He really cares about you."

Holly took a pillow, pressing it on her face. "This man really needs to calm Sadao! I know he wants me to be safe but he took it too far. I love you, Japan and want to live here, apart from my parents like you do but he still acts like I'm a teenager. He even tried to secretly follow me on our dates. Now he has to deal with not having any contact with me for a long time." Holy seemed tired, touched the baby-belly. "Could you try buying food, I need to eat something for our Jojo." She said. "I'll come back then in 40 minutes, take a nap in that time.", Sadao answered, leaving the room with money. Holy immediately fell asleep.

Outside the Hotel again, Sadao walked to the market, knowing that the prices would rise for him as a tourist. But while walking, he didn't seem to realize the man from before having a his eyes constantly on him.
