Out At The Mall

I was standing in front of my closet trying to figure out what I should wear out today to the mall. My friend Aaliyah was already on her way to come and get me so I didnt have all day. I finally just grabbed my white tank top since it was hot outside and and put on my skinny jeans and jordans. I pulled my hair into a bun and put on some mascara and lip gloss and I was an good to go. I didn't really do the whole make up thing but just a touch up wouldnt hurt. After I was finished getting ready I went to my moms room to go chill with her.

Me: Hey momma

Mom: Hey girly. Is Aaliyah here?

Me: Nah not yet but shes close

Mom: Dont be doin anything you dont got no business now

Me: Mom you know you can trust me

Mom: Yeah but I dont know Aaliyah. Isnt she the one that got suspended from school for fightin

Me: Yeah but mom shes not bad she just has a temper

Mom: And shes also fast with the boys

Me: Mom I'll be okay its just the mall. I just wanna look at some cute outfits so I can look all grown up in college.

Mom: Dont try and get too grown.

As my mom was talking my phone rang. It was Aaliyah calling to let me know she was here.

Me: Well mom Aaliyahs here so I'll see you later.

I got up and kissed my mom on the forehead

Mom: Be back here on time!

I shook my head and smiled and walked out of her room and headed to the front door. When I seen Aaliyah she had on her half shirt with sunglasses on the top of her head and some high waisted pants. Shes always gotta look cute.

Me: Well look at you gettin all cute again!

Aaliyah: I cant help it just come natural.

I rolled my eyes playfully.

Aaliyah: And besides you never know what cute guys is out here

Me: The ol ones

Aaliyah: Yeah you're probably right

Me: Ohh how much money did you bring

Aaliyah: Enough

I shrugged my shoulders and just looked foward. We drove for about 10 minutes and then arrived at the mall. As soon as we pulled up there was a group of guys standing outside the mall doors. Aaliyah looked over at me with a smirk on her face

Aaliyah: Bingo

She got out the and adjusted her pants and then started walking towards the mall. As we got closer the guys turned and looked at us. I already knew they were going to say somethin.

Guy: Wassup cuties

I was going to keep walking but Aaliyah started to slow down.

Aaliyah: Hey

I didnt say anything I just sat there waiting on this conversation to end.

Guy: Yall lookin right today. Yall here alone

Aaliyah: Yeah but we dont have to be if you want to join along.

I looked at Aaliyah and frowned. I then grabbed her arm and started to pull her.

Guy: Why you in a rush

I looked at him and rolled my eyes and walked into the mall with Aaliyah. I then stopped her.
