(Hey everyone, I am hoping to go back home maybe tomorrow. Weather here in Texas has gone crazy lately, deep snow just all over and it sucks. I love snow don't get me wrong but I just hate to be away from home. lol. But I'm back with an update on this story.)

Three months had passed and Beth was trying to take it easy now. Lyndsay could tell that not too long from now Beth would be giving birth to hopefully yet another son. As everyone hoped. Lyndsay still wasn't sure of why she couldn't have daughters but she didn't question it. Her and Gabe had sex three times a week. Lyndsay enjoyed it each time. She wasn't as nervous anymore and she just loved the way Gabe worshipped her body each time.

She checked a month ago and no positive tests yet. Lyndsay was doing the dishes while Beth was sweeping up the floor. Beth hobbled over to Lyndsay complaining of some sharp pains going on in her back, but she said it was to be ignored but Lyndsay knew that wasn't sounding good, but she was worried if she worried than so would Beth.

Lyndsay had her sit for a bit giving her a glass of water. "I'll finish the chores why don't you just go sit and read for a bit?" Lyndsay smiled. "Ok." Beth waddled over to the couch reading for a bit. In an hour the whole house was clean. So Lyndsay started dinner alone, she then baked an apple pie making the crust light and fluffy but sweet enough so it wasn't just all flour tasting. When Noah, Gabriel and Noel came back inside they smelled the delicious dinner and the pie.

"It smells awesome in here!" Noah said. "Lyndsay cooked, I haven't been feeling well today." Beth spoke honestly. "What? Are you ok? Is the baby ok?" Noah said in a panic tone. "Yes I'm fine darling, I just needed to rest Lyndsay offered to do everything today anyways." Beth said sweetly. "Oh Lyndsay you sweet girl." Noah said while smiling. Everyone washed up for dinner and they all laughed and talked. "So Lyndsay I've noticed that you have put on some weight since you have been here. You look good." Noah said drinking the juice of the meat. "Thank you. I'm glad I put on some weight. I needed meat on my bones I was too skinny anyways." Lyndsay said laughing. "Yeah you were, but with us you are protected and well fed and you can be happier here." Gabriel said wrapping his arm around her shoulders.

"So, I'm gonna have a talk with you after dinner." Gabriel whispered into Lyndsay's ear. "Ok." She whispered back.

Dinner was caught off guard when Beth was beginning to fall out of her chair moaning in pain. "Beth? Baby?" Noah spoke in a worried tone. "Mama?" Noel asked panicked. "Don't worry Noel. She needs rest." Lyndsay quickly helped her up the stairs while Noah was close behind. "Noel sit down please, I'll check on mommy." Noah spoke firmly to his younger son who obeyed right away. Beth was taken to bed while she moaned and cried in pain. "Baby what's the matter?" Noah held her hand. "I'm not feeling good Noah. I'm not feeling..." She went quiet. "Beth? Beth?" Noah screamed. "Calm down, she's just passed out." Lyndsay said sweetly. She checked on Beth's pulse, she was just out out of it. "I'm gonna take care of her, you go downstairs and tend to your sons please." Noah nodded and went outside to meet with Gabriel and Noel.

"She's resting she is to not be disturbed."  Noah spoke giving both his sons that serious look. "If she is disturbed then there will be punishment understood boys?" He spoke loudly . "Yes sir." They both said.

A few hours later, Noah fell asleep next to Beth. She was still out of it. He ordered for Lyndsay to go to bed with Gabe and that if she is needed he will call for her. She obeyed and went into Gabriel's room who was still awake. "How's mom?" He asked. "She's still resting. You wanted to speak to me?" She asked. "Yes. Um come here and sit." Lyndsay sat next to him on the bed. "Lyndsay you know I love you right and that everything I do is to protect you?" "Yes, I do." She said with a smile. "ok well, in this family we eat to live, we eat to protect what's ours and we eat because we love it." He said. "What are you saying?" Lyndsay asked. "I'm saying that the meat you cook and eat my love is human meat."

Lyndsay sat there for a moment, not reacting at all. She just shrugged her shoulders. "My love, are you ok?" Gabe asked. "So we eat humans? I don't see what's so bad about it." Lyndsay said trying to hide the tears from falling but at the same time she wasn't shocked by it. "I've been through so much Gabriel that I don't see the problem with it."

An hour had passed and Gabriel was surprised at how well Lyndsay had handled it. He was sure that she would throw a fit, scream or hit him or threaten to harm herself but instead he saw the dead coldness in them, nothing. But she was just sweet in general so he had to wonder what the heck. But he loved her no matter what so he figured no questioning it, just be happy to have her. However, if she were to be forced to kill another human being would she still be the sweet princess she was always acting like? He had to talk to his dad. He left the room to get Noah. "What?" He asked in aggivation.

"Dad we need to talk about something." Gabriel said. Noah came out of the room. The two headed downstairs to talk over tea. "So you want her to kill another person when they wind up on our territory?" Noah said laughing. "Yes dad, its the only way to test her." "I don't blame you son, so I say yes let's do this. Normally we don't do this let the women kill, but I guess things can change just this once. You're great-great grandfather Donald started this cannibal tradition while he father before him was the one who went out and got the girls anyways." Noah said showing Gabriel the picture of Donald his great-great grandfather. He was a tall slender man, with grey beard and brown eyes.

"Isn't Donald like Charle's grandfather too?" Gabriel asked. "No son, we are cousins to them so Donald's brother Ronald was his great grandfather. We used to have daughters in the family but they never lived long so, we figured only boys from now on. Lyndsay's gonna have to know about that as well. But for now, let's go to bed." Gabriel put up the tea cups and tea kettle and went to bed which Lyndsay was already asleep. He cuddled next to her kissing her cheek before nudging his face into her neck. He fell asleep like that just loving being with his girl.
