I was putting the finishing touches on my drawing when I heard the door open. I looked to see dad walking into the apartment. I looked back down at my sketchbook and continued to draw as I heard the door close. Dad walked to his room and started to take off his police gear.
I had put the last touch on drawing as I saw dad sitting down. "So, I have some news. We have guests joining us for supper tonight," he said. I looked up at him.
"Really? Who?" Grace asked. "Well, you guys will find out tonight," he said as he got up from the couch. He looked at my drawing. "Your talent will always surprise me," he added before he walked back into his room. I looked down at my sketchbook.

I closed my sketchbook before I got up from the couch. I walked into my room. I put the sketchbook and pencil on my desk before I pulled out the credit card that was in my pocket. I opened a drawer and put the card inside of it. I closed the drawer and looked around the room.
"So, where are we going for supper tonight?" I asked as I walked to the main part of the apartment. "Well, I was able to talk to our guests and they said that we can go anywhere that we want. So I told them that we will be going to your guys' favorite cafe. Not the one you work at Skylar, but another one that is closer to the center of town." Dad said as he walked out of his room.
"Cool," I said. "Who is eating with us?" Luke asked. "Well, it's a surprise," Dad said. "Now, everyone go and get ready," Dad added. Luke and Grace got up from the floor and walked to their room.
"Please tell me who is going to supper with us," I said. "Nope, a surprise is a surprise," Dad said. I glared at him. "Well, I'll give you one hint. You know one of them." Dad said after a little while.
I gave dad a weird look as I tried to think about all the people that could be there. "Well, guys. It's time to go." Dad said. Grace and Luke walked out of their room and over to us. "Can I sit up front?" Luke asked.
"No, I want to sit up front," Grace said. "Neither of you will sit up front. You are still too young. Skylar will sit up front, while you two are in the back." Dad said. "Why?" Grace whined. "We hate sitting in the back of your police car," Luke said. "Sorry, guys. But life is life. Now come on." Dad said as he grabbed his car keys. The four of us walked out of the apartment, closing the door behind us.
Dad parked the car and we all climbed out, closing the doors behind us. The four of us started to walk to the cafe. We walked inside, my nose filled with the smell of fresh bread. I looked around at the crowd of people.
That's when my eyes landed on someone that we all know. I smiled and tapped my siblings shoulder. They looked at me. I pointed towards the man that they know. They smiled as they saw him. He got up and smiled at us all.
"Uncle Phil!" Grace said as she ran to him. She hugged him, making him laugh. "Uncle Phil." Luke said as he ran over to him. I smiled and started to walk over to him with dad at my side. "Nice to see you guys too." Phil said. They let go of him. I smiled. "Hi, Uncle Phil." I said as I walked over to him. He smiled and hugged me back.
"It's nice to see you too." he said. I let go of him and that's when my eyes saw the other people that are sitting there. "Phil, nice to see you again." Dad said as the two of them shook hands. "You too Henry." Phil said.
"Who are they?" Grace as the looked at the people that are sitting at the table. "Well, Grace. This is Nick Fury. My boss and these are my friends. Maria, Nat, Clint, Wanda, Pietro, and T'challa." Phil said as he pointed at each of the people that are in front of me.
"It's nice to meet you all." Maria said. "You too." Dad said as we all sat down. I sat down so Grace was on my left and Luke was on my right. Phil was sitting on Luke's other side and dad was sitting on Grace's other side.
"Hello, how are you all doing tonight?" a waitress asked. "Good." Luke answered, making her smile. She gave everyone a menu. "What can I get you all to drink?" She asked. Dad got himself and me a water. He got Luke and Grace a glass of milk. Phil got a glass of water just like everyone else. "I'll be right back." she said before she walked away from the table.
"So, you must be Officer Carter." Nick Fury said. "Yeah, that's me." Dad answered. "I've heard about some of the cases that you worked on. You have done amazing work." he said. "Thank you." dad said. "So, Luke, Grace. How is school?" Phil asked.
"Good." Grace answered. "Good." Luke lied. "Luke, you do realize that I know if you are lying right and you are a terrible lyier. So, what's going on?" Phil asked. "Nothing, just some bullies." Luke answered.
I looked at Luke. He has not told anyone about them but me. But I guess he got strength, he told everyone at the table about it this time. "But everything is fine." Luke added.
The waitress came over with a tray with all our drinks. All the waters and the two glasses of milk. She put the right glasses in front of the right person. "What can I get you all?" the waitress asked.
