KALLIE'S POV
"OTW" by Khalid blasts through my phone at 6 a.m. screaming at me to wake up. I usually like to sleep in but today I figured I would go on a run to clear my mind. I love to run, it gives me so much freedom. Kinda strange considering your lungs are in pain and you get sweaty but it puts me in the right mindset.
I ran 3 laps and on my way back to the house I see 2 new vehicles, a bright blue jeep and a beat up truck. "Hm, weird." I mumble to myself.
"Where's Kallie? I want to introduce her to him?" Said Tia Isabelle.
Him? I turn around the corner, "I'm right here."
"Oh! Where have you been? Why are you all gross and sweaty?"
"I went on a run." I say grabbing my water bottle.
"LiLi! OMG! You're actually here!" I turn around quickly and I see that it's Mariana, my cousin. I missed her so much. She has always been like a sister to me. Sometimes I pretended we were twins.
Simultaneously,
"Mariana!"
"LiLi!"
We both run across the house and give each other a big hug that leads us to the floor. We both start laughing hysterically until the door right next to us opens and a pair of 2 big feet with flip flops appear in-front of my face. I slowly glide my eyes up to the face that belongs to the feet.
Oh. My. God.
"LiLi huh?"
