Kyoichi was really a quiet baby.
His sister was like that, but only for the first few weeks of her life. But it was June, and he was almost 3 months. He did cry, but not as much as you thought he would. Not like you were complaining, that just made him easier to take care of.
It was a nice Wednesday morning, and you were feeding Kyoichi. He was in his high chair, which was basically tall a car seat, holding his own bottle. He was getting so big now. "Take your time Koi. It's not going anywhere, I promise." You said as you watched him eat.
Your attention did move to the stairs though, because Katsuki was walking down them in his hero costume. "You're ready early." "I saw the highway was backed up. Gonna have to take the street way to work which takes even longer." He kissed Kyoichi's forehead before moving over to you and kissing your lips.
"Is Kayoko awake?" "When I went into her room she was still laying down so I didn't bother her." That was strange. Kayoko was usually the second person up right after Katsuki. She was also definitely up if she heard people downstairs. "Watch him for a second." You told Katsuki as you walked upstairs.
You gave a gentle knock on her door, and when she didn't answer your opened the door. Her little night light was on and she was still laying down. "Babygirl?" You walked up to the side of her bed, and once you saw her face it all came together. She was sick.
A sigh left your mouth. Hiraku had gotten sick, but you were hoping she wouldn't catch it like his siblings did. But, that didn't work out. New project though: Take care of sick daughter and make sure she doesn't get the baby sick. A sick toddler was way easier to deal with than a sick baby.
"I no feel good mama..." "I know baby. Mommy's gonna get you some medicine. I'll be right back." Kayoko nodded before turning back around. You got up and closed her door before walking back down the steps. "Hey Kat can you-" Confusion went across your face as you didn't see your husband. The only person there was Kyoichi who had finished his bottle.
"Of course..." You gave another sigh before picking up Kyoichi and starting to pat his back. While you burped him, your hands took brief breaks to try and find Kayoko's medicine. And if the day couldn't get any worse, there was no more medicine.
Normally you'd just go get some, but you didn't want Kayoko and Kyoichi too close to each other. While he hadn't really gotten sick yet, you knew he got really fussy when he was upset. And dealing with two sick kids while your husband was gone was not how you wanted to spend the next few days.
Once Kyoichi was burped, you put him down for tummy time and grabbed your phone. Usually, Mitsuki would be the go-to call for a quick babysit while you run to the store. She wasn't an option time because she'd told you that she and Masaru were working on a huge project. Good thing you had a backup.

"Thank you so much for coming on such short notice." You said gratefully as you opened the door. "Of course! What kind of babysitter would I be if I can't be available at random times." Eri said as she looked around. "Man, I still forget how big your house is whenever I come over."
You snickered at her comment before going to pick up Kyoichi and handed him to Eri. "He's already been fed and changed, and I already took his temperature and he was fine. If he starts coughing or anything while I'm out let me know so I can get him some medicine too." You kept going over instructions as you put on your shoes and jacket.
"y/n, I'm twenty years old. I think I can take care of a baby for twenty minutes." She said as Kyoichi grabbed her hair and started to pull it. Thankfully she had patience. "Again, I'm so happy you could do this. I'm gonna get the sick one and try to get back in twenty." Eri just nodded while babbling words at your son. A faint smile spread across your face and you went up the stairs. Now to attend to your daughter.

By the time Katsuki got home it was 1 am. He didn't even bother saying anything to the kids since they'd definitely be asleep by now. His feet softly carried him up the stairs as to not wake anyone. When he opened your bedroom door he was surprised to see you up on your phone.
Your eyes locked for a second until you looked back at the screen. Seeing as you were awake, Katsuki turned the light on and closed the door. He was talking to you and asking questions, but he noticed how your responses were repeated and dull.
"You okay?" He asked, putting his gear in the closet. "Not really, no." You said without looking at him. Katsuki walked from the closet to the bed, sitting down and looking at you. "What's wrong y/n?" "Maybe if you could come home at a decent hour you'd know." Katsuki looked while you didn't even look up at him.
"Fuck is that supposed to mean?" He asked with that tone in his voice. "My daughter is sick. I was going to tell you before you left in a hurry and leaving my son downstairs. I had to get Eri to watch him just so I could go to the store because you didn't pick up your phone. So for the rest of the day, I had to take care of my daughter while making sure my son didn't get sick."
While Katsuki was concerned about Kayoko, your word choice is was hit him. "You're throwing the word my around a lot." "Yeah, because you don't get to barely be home all week and expect me to call them our kids." "See now you're making it sound like I don't take care of my fucking kids."
The two of you argued back and forth. You attempted to keep quiet for the sake of the kids, but when you were pissed your voice raised and your mouth got brutal. "I don't wanna fucking hear it Katsuki! I don't care about the office or any of that shit! You have a children and need to help take care of them!" "Stop acting like a bitch and pretending I don't do shit around here!" You froze at his words, having to process it before looking at him.
"What did you just call me?"
