You were always used of being around boys. Since you were always with Hinata from a young age, you were automatically always surrounded by his other friends, who mostly happended to be boys as well. It wasn't that you weren't friends with girls as well, but but unlike them, you never had problems fitting in with a group of boys and you've never felt yourself being somehow attracted to a guy before. Well, up till now.

While you are now standing in the sports hall, in front of the three upperclassmen, who just entered, one of them really catches your attention. Actually, he doesn't really stand out a lot, he has anaverage height, almost grayish dark blonde hair and friendly hazel eyes. But something about him makes your gaze linger longer than it should. Much too long, actually. Blushing, you look to the ground, when your eyes suddenly meet his and he throws you a friendly smile.

Little did you know, he was doing the exact same thing, looking at you closely until your eyes suddenly meet and then looking down at his feet, blushing furiously.

"Hey, hey, hey! Don't just come in here," the almost bald shaved guy on the right suddenly scolds you, but the brunette in the middle pulls him back by his collar before he can go on with his booth. "Are you Kageyama?" he asks instead and throws the setter a smile. "Yes", he answers shortly, his hands in the pockets of his training jacket. His sullen and unconcealed arrgogant manner is slowly starting to annoy you. "He is really tall", notes the guy, who already attracted your attention before, while eyeing the first grader attentive. And he is right: Even though Kageyama is a first grader like the two of you, he towers all tree of the upperclassmen. Well, to be honest, all of them looked tall in your eyes, since you're even smaller than Shoyo and he's already a dwarf.

Apart of your small height, your pretty average. Average athletic, but not interested in any sport in particular. Average smart, but lazy when it comes to learning. Average pretty. Shoulder-length, light brown hair. Hazel eyes. No particular strengths, no particular weaknesses. No hidden talents. All in one pretty average. Even though you used to really dislike being called like that, you somehow have begun to see yourself this way, as well.

Maybe that's the reason you find yourself attracted to the most average guy in the gym.

Well, that's not true actually. Looking closely at him, he's not average at all. To be honest, he is pretty handsome. And he exudes an incredible calm and warm aura, that attracts you in a special kind of way. You let out a quiet sight. Being distracted to a guy like that, is not like you at all.

"The first impression counts Suga-san, show them the dignity of a third grader", the bald head announces as the three of them approach you. He grimaces which is probably supposed to be intimidating, but rather looks ridiculous in your eyes. „Tanaka, leave that stupid grimace", the tallest of them admonishes and crosses his arms. The brunette exudes a certain authority and calmness, which is making you wonder if he was the captain of the team.

Shoyo, who was nervously prancing around, now tries to shout a quiet "hello" in between, but the three of them are fully focused on the taller setter who even the towers the brunette by a few inches. "One meter eighty," he replies curtly. "What a show-off", the weird bald head grumbles.

"Apart from that, 'Hinatas shadow', the girls gym is over there." Kageyama grumbles while looking at you directly for the first time. This idiot has a real nerve talking to you like that. You throw him an evil look and try your best to not go for his throat immediately. With a put on smile, but slightly frowned eyebrows, you answer him: "I'm not here to join a club. Shoyo only asked me to accompany him." - "Shadow", he mumbles once again and adverts his gaze with an irritated look on his face. Seriously, what the hell is his goddamn problem, it shoots through your head.
