Hello, Demon - Demon AU

Okay, this is a one shot where Dream is a demon, while Grian and Techno are hunters.

I have no idea where this is gonna go, but oh well!

Also, there's no 'clan' or system of government between the Demon Hunters. They just slaughter demons. Also, don't question my physics in this.

He didn't want to be here. Being chased by two demon hunters, who just so happened to be some of the best hunters in the country.

He was freezing, despite it being hot outside. That's not the main problem though. He can't shake the hunters off his tail, despite being very nimble, they were catching up with him.

"LEAVE ME ALONE! I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING!" Dream screamed, looking back at the hunter's surprised face. Most demons can't talk.

After 30 minutes of running, they caught up with him. The shorter, Grian, held his sword up to Dream's neck. With the other, Technoblade, holding his arms back.

"Wait-! Wait-!" Dream shouted, desperately wanting to survive. He thrashed and thrashed, but Techno was stronger and was able to hold him down easily.

Grian held back his sword. He looked down at the pitiful demon before him, they caught him in a forest. Now that he's thinking about it, the demon wasn't doing anything, and ran at first sight of the two.

"Grian what are you doing?! Kill him!" Techno asked the older, still restraining the demon before him.

"I want to hear what he has to say, Techno, it's not everyday you see a demon speak." The shorter responded, looking Techno dead in the eyes.

"Oh my lord-! Thank you! Thank you so much!" Dream said to Grian, trying to wipe his blood with his shoulder.

"Make it quick, we have stuff to do." Techno stated, being a bit salty about the demon taking up his time.

"Okay! Just please don't kill me!" Dream said looking back at Techno.

"I've never killed anyone-! I've never taken anyone's blood either!" The demon, who looked around 20, proclaimed, startling the other 2.

"Okay, now that's a lie. How are you alive then?" Grian asked, he wanted to know more about this interesting demon.

"I hunted and ate animals for a living, I never wanted to hurt any humans-!" The blonde demon stated proudly, he's gone 10 years off this method. Not ever eating a single human in his demon-hood.

"And how are we supposed to believe that? You are literally a demon." Grian rolled his eyes, not believing a word the younger demon said.

"Test my blood! I'd have traces of human blood in me if I ate someone within the last year!" Dream was getting desperate, he was trying to survive, but who would trust a demon? Nobody.

The Demon Hunters let out an exasperated sigh, Grian rolled his eyes again and tied up the blond demon's arms, loosening the restraints a bit when he saw the younger flinch when they were pulled.

"Run again and we'll kill you." The 'Blood God' stated as he watched the demon fiddle with the restraints, his tail wrapping around branches of trees as they walked.

The walk was a long one, to say the least. The demon ended up falling asleep a bit through the walk, him not being used to walking for such a long distance.

"So... Do we carry him?" Grian asked Techno, looking down at the passed out demon.

"We should kill him."

"Techno no." Grian watched as Techno pouted, then picked up the demon shifting him so it wouldn't hurt to carry him.

They arrived at their base, which was hand built by Grian. It looked like a nice little cottage on the outside, but was a laboratory, gym, and tunnel system underneath it.

"Are you sure this is safe, G?" Techno asked the shorter, looking back at the sleeping demon.

"Hey, I want to know more about demons. And maybe he's not like the others. But you never know." Grian responded, looking at his partner/lover.

After they made it inside and to the lab, Grian changed the rope cuffs that they were using to metal ones that were attached to nearby poles.

"Whatcha gonna do Bread?" Techno asked, sitting down in a nearby seat, watching as Grian messed around for a minute, before grabbing a nearby object.

"What he asked for us to do. Test his blood." Grian pulled out a syringe, walking over to the blond and cleaning where he was going to take the blood with an alcohol wipe.

"Y'know, we never asked his name." Grian stated, injecting the needle, frowning as the demon flinched a bit.

"Yeah, but it's not gonna matter at all. We're gonna have to kill him." Techno responded, leaning back in his chair as Grian finished up his tests.

"You might be a bit surprised..."

"Oh god, did he seriously not-"

"Yeah, he hasn't eaten anyone." Grian turned to the demon, uncuffing him.

"Jeez, no wonder he was so light. His diet mostly consists of human blood, animal blood won't be the same. It has different properties." Techno said, walking over to where the two of them were and picked up the demon.

"We should let him stay, we can set some rules. But I want to do more tests, and maybe we can get some information out of him." Grian proclaimed, "We should put him in a bed, so he can sleep."

"Good idea." Techno walked over to the couch, placing the demon down. Then tried to walk away.

Keyword: tried. Dream grabbed Techno's shirt and wrapped his tail around Techno's leg. Techno had no choice but to stay with him, so he sat down on the couch, bringing the demon's head onto his lap and petting his surprisingly soft hair.

"Aww, that's cute!" Grian whispered, walking onto the scene.

Being the gremlin he is, Grian sat on the other side of Techno, leaning on him so it makes it even harder for Techno to get up. Doing so, he woke up the demon a bit.

Yawning, Dream stretched his arms, his tail poking Techno slightly, making Techno jump.

"Oh-! Sorry! Wait-" Dream sat up a bit, jumping away, only to be pulled back by Grian.

"Where do you think you're going? You're staying here." The sandy-blond said, holding onto the demon, "What's your name?"

"I- Uh- Dream..." Dream responded, looking around the house they were in.

"Okay, nice to meet you, I'm Grian. And that's Techno." Grian gestured towards Techno on the last part, giving Dream a smile. Techno nodded at Dream.

"It's nice to meet you!"
