Truth be told

Scene 1

3rd persons POV the year is 2022

"Hello everybody! Thank you for joining us. If you don't know me, my name is Pat Mayback and this is the PAT ME ON 'MAYBACK' show!", the crowd roared with excitement.

"Today is a very special day. We have all 5 former One Direction members, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson!" girls screamed, cried, and yeah, a few passed out. This was the first time the band had been seen all together in the same place in almost 7 years.

"As you may know" Pat continued, "Last week we started a new series called "Truth be Told" and our first guests being the Jonas Brothers, now we have One Direction." the cameras changed to one backstage where the boys were all hanging out. The atmosphere being undeniably tense, they were spaced out from one another. Only sending forced smiles for the camera. "Well, come on out." she laughed, obviously not noticing the tension.

Harry was the first one out, carefully sitting down on the couch, followed by Zayn, then Niall, Liam, and finally Louis, who was not excited at all to be here. He knew. He knew he was a major part of the reason One Direction split up, and he wasn't ready to crumble. Don't start feeling sympathetic now. He's done some messed up shit.

"So...I guess we'll start. This show is going to be similar to the one we did with the Jonas Brothers. Scene 1 is just going to be some fun facts, like what was your favorite 1D song and such. We will discuss the other scenes when we get there."

"Question 1: What was your favorite 1D song and why?" Niall was the first to answer, breaking the tension, "Well I personally liked Fools Gold. And duh gold, I'm Irish.", "Of course you did you little leprechaun." Harry said. The laughter soon died down as Zayn was the next to answer, "I would like to say all of them but if I had do pick, it would be If I Could Fly, or Walking in the Wind, even though I wasn't there for them the lyrics just stick with you, they slightly touch your heart and leave marks you can't forget, basically they make me cry, if you don't know what I mean.", "Well damn, thanks." Harry joked again, since he WAS the one to write both the songs, "I really like the part in Walking in the Wind where you sing, " I know we'll be alright child, Just close your eyes and see, I'll be by your side, Any time your needing me." Your tone was really good." Zayn compliments and brushes his hand against Harry's thigh. This maybe sorta makes Harry blush.

"Liam and I just agreed on Story of My Life, the MV was really creative and we were excited for our family's to join us."

Question: 2 What was your favorite thing to do while you had free time?

Louis was the one to answer this question, feeling as though he already knew everybody's answers, "Being on the road almost everyday, you seem to miss your family a lot. We all missed home but some of us were just to pussy to stand it for long." that was obviously jabbed at Zayn since one of the reasons he stated he left was because he was away from his family too much. The other boys just shook their head in disappointment while Harry and Zayn stared at him like he had grown a second head.

"Listen here you fucking hypocrite, you just don't like me anymore because Ha-" he looked at Harry and saw his eyes begging him to calm down and not say anything yet, "Your so lucky Harry's here mate or I would have fucking beat your ass already." He stopped but that just fueled Louis even more. "Oh you mean your little bitch boy, yeah I wouldn't be surprised if you fucked him over agai-" and with that Zayn ran over to be man and punched him right in the nose, causing Lou to punch right back, we all know where this goes.

Security rushed over to help the rest of them pull the two apart. Zayn with a bloody nose, a few bruises and Louis with a completely fucked up, bruised face. Harry was crying hysterically. It reminded him of the day before Zayn had left. He started to have a panic attack. Zayn saw this and quickly ran over to comfort him but was stopped by security guards who thought he was about to start a fight with other member. "FUCKING LET ME GO!" he squeezed past them and finally reached Harry who was too far gone to be coaxed out, he would just have to suffer through until it stopped.

Flashback I don't hate Louis by the way. He is just the "bad guy" in this story.

They were all sitting in the living room, if you could call it that, of the tour bus. Zayn announced about a week prior that he was leaving the band and everyone had been a little off since then.

Suddenly Louis spoke, which lets be honest, never really makes things better, "I'll never fucking forgive you for this shit mate." making everyone kinda surprised at this. Zayn and Lou were best friends, they never really talked to each other like enemy's unless they were playing around.

"I don't really care Lou, you have proved to me multiple times that you are not who I thought you were. In fact none of you have, I clearly am not doing well, I need a break, I'm not one to be selfish and dammit Harry you out of all of us should know that. So yeah, shame on me for being selfish for once. Lou you act as if everything is fine. You know we were just at each others throats last week, what happened to you, to all of us, we have changed, so we need to spread out, I'm tired of fighting Lou, I'm tired of the numbing drugs and alcohol Liam, I'm done playing around Niall, and Harry...I'm tired of putting all my burdens on you, I love you and I can't do that to you anymore and babe, I'm sorry that I have to leave you but its for the best."

Zayn got closer to Harry but he just whimpered, trying to hold back tears. Louis must have thought he had hit Harry or maybe he was just an asshole but he lunged at Zayn, making the two fall to the floor. Lou hit Zayn in the face repeatedly while pinning him down. Harry screamed at Louis and tried to pull him off but he turned around and smacked him across the face which made him stumble back. Adrenaline rushed through Zayn and he forcefully pushed him off then kicked him in the crotch and giving him one good punch, before Liam pulled Louis out of the bus and into the hotel, with Niall following.

"Harry, are you ok?" this made Harry laugh, Zayn really was selfless. "You just got fucked up and your asking how I'm doing?", now it was Zayn's turn to laugh. Of course he was worried about him, Lou slapped the shit out of him and he's his boyfriend how could he not care. "We are so fucked up Haz" he sighed sadly. "We are fucked up together. I love you, but that's the problem. I'll miss you Zayn." and that's all he said before walking out the door. That was the last time they spoke.

Slowly Harry came back to reality, he was not longer on the floor but in bed, cuddled in-between someone's legs, who he quickly recognized as Zayn. He was playing with his hair and holding him tightly. "Z-zayn?"

"Oh god Hazza, your awake!" he tried to cover up the fact that he was crying by wiping his face but Harry saw. "Z, why are you crying?" he couldn't hold it anymore, he broke down. "God, it's been so long Harry, I miss talking to you, I miss waking up next to you, I miss you, I know I should have called you, fuck it was so hard leaving you." Harry was bloody furious. "Then why did you?" he got up, grabbed his stuff and walked towards the door, Zayn was frozen. Just before he was about to go he turned around, "I miss you too Zayn." then he walked out of the door. Again.
