"Ugh! Again!"

Marcy Endou was sitting in front of the t.v in her living room in defeat watching another hero defeat a villain. She grabbed her penguin notebook and wrote her 1,375th tally mark. Flipping through the pages of the book, she realized that she was running out of pages.

"Moooooooooooooom! I need a new notebook."
She got up and went into her kitchen where her mom was.

"Honey I'm in the middle of work. Your father should be home soon so you can ask him."

Marcy gave her mother a mad stare for a couple of seconds to try to change her mothers' mind but her mother didn't give in.  Because that didn't work Marcy would have to give her mother the worst tantrum she has ever seen, which will get her the notebook.
Marcy closed her eyes finding her inner crocodile tears but then the breaking news came on with a blaring sound.

"Citizens of Littphurmounds, this is the national alert system. There is a level red villain, in the Sleytree area please evacuate."

Both Marcy and her mother stared at the screen for a while, before Marcy started jumping up in down in excitement.

"Dad's going to meet a villain!" Her excitement then turned into jealousy.  "I want to meet a villain."

"Marcy. Don't you ever say that again? Villains are horrible and your father is going to be fine.....He's a superhero after all."

Marcy tried her hardest not to be upset that her father became an official superhero last year because she loved him too much for that. Even if he took down this villain her feelings for him wouldn't change.

Suddenly the warning on the screen switched to the fight that was going on.

Marcy ran back to where she was sitting before her eyes were glued to the screen.

Marcy believed that this villain would finally do it. That this was the time something will finally happen.
Her hands clasped into a fist as she saw the two who were about to battle.

Phantom Animistic & Silver Haunt.

This was the best thing to happen to Marcy in a long time. This was the fight of all time, and she would remember this for the rest of her life.

"Mom record this, record this! Hurry before the villain wins and they stop the broadcast!"

Marcy was so hyped she didn't even realize she was jumping up and down.

"Honey, calm down, I'll record it."

Marcy sat after her mother said that and tried to calm down, but that was kind of hard especially once the fight began.


Her mother muttered to herself quietly "This kid just might be hopeless.", then she hit the record button.
