The night that changed everyone's life forever. The very beginning of everything.
It was pouring that night, low clouds and squalls of driving rain. She suddenly felt something strong, vehement or indescribable pain. She was carrying a child in her womb. She was about to deliver. Her husband Sadat, had no idea what to do at that time. He took her to the nearest hospital. She was taken in. she squealed with pain. Agonizing she felt during that travail. Room sweltering , a yellow light blinking from the corner. The pain took over her entire body. few minutes ago, the doctors looked frustrated. She was oblivious about what happening in there . Sadat became overwhelmed , when he heard her screaming like she was going to die in next one or two minutes. Seconds later, silence strike in. No one had an idea about what's happening . Neither doctors nor nurses came to notify .It took twenty minutes when they finally got the news that it was a boy she gave birth to and Sadat was elated and tears started to roll on. Doctor interrupted with "but". Sadat looked at his eyes with joy but suddenly he was said to be absolutely shattered after hearing that the baby wasn't crying or making any noise.
'we tried our best unfortunately he has problems' said the doctor. He was petrified , felt empty. Unable to think or feel. He was accompanied by his brother Ali. He caught him when he started to feel dizzy.Atlast he got to touch his son's tiny, delicate fingers which made him cry his eyes out . Naseema felt relieved but still she was sort of perplexed about the situation. She heard the thing that was haunting her. Nurse uttered that her child was not like a normal child. She understood what she meant;lying in that emergency room and eyes closed, she mewled. From that night onwards, life wasn't easy for them , they realized that from then on they have to face the things that they would never think of.......
