(This story is for my mother @a-lonelonellyloner  so I hope you like it <3! Enjoy everybody!)

It was April nineteenth in a small town named Bluewater. It was known for the clean rivers that surrounded the mountains. The sky was clear most of the time, the sun always shining down on everyone. It was pretty quiet until the commotion began about someone new moving to the town.

Down at the lake house, there was a moving van parked in the drive way. Once the door opened, a woman stepped out with a wide smile placed on her lips. Hair like milk chocolate, eyes like a clear night sky. Jane was her name. She spun in a circle, feeling relieved to get out of the city. She could never concentrate on her writing with the lights and noise of the cars driving by her old house. Peace and quiet with this amazing view could never get better. Well that's what she thought.

When the young writer walked into the house, she looked around with a sense of amazement. "SO BIG!" She yelled to herself, starting to take in the effects of the lake house. It was a two story cabin, lots of windows on every side. The doors themselves were consisted of windows as well. She ran up the wooden stairs on the right of the cabin, and once she got onto the second story, she leaned over the railing. Jane bent her knees, looking out the ginormous window at the front of the cabin. Right before she fell forward, she leaned back and ran down the second stair way on the left, spinning once more as she reached the first floor.

After about an hour of her excitement, she began to bring in the boxes in the van. Some of them were to heavy for her arms to carry, so she decided to just leave them in there so she could pay someone to help her move them into her new home later on. She rolled up her sleeves, and started to place box by box into the large lobby room. "Well, this is the worst part of moving..." She thought to herself, looking around, trying to think of the finished design.

As she pictured hew her new home would look, one of the towns people walked over, knocking on the glass door. "Welcome to the town, is there anything I could help you with?" He asked, noticing she was having a bit of trouble moving in on her own.

When Jane looked over, her eyes went wide at the male. He couldn't have been over thirty, with light blue eyes, and short, black hair. He was tall with broad shoulders, but had a kind look on his face.

"Oh hello. If you don't mind, maybe you could help me carry the big boxes into the lobby?" She asked softly, looking at the male's features.

The male nodded, walking over to the van. "Oh you don't have that much. Is there anything else coming or did you just pack light?" He asked, looking at the boxes remaining in the van.

Jane peaked her head over and walked to the van, looking inside. "Oh really? I thought I packed too much!" She said and laughed nervously, rubbing the back of her neck. She was a nervous person in general, but tended to have an adventurous side to her as well.

He just nodded again, grabbing one of the heavier boxes. "I pretty much brought my home when I moved here. Oh and I believe I haven't introduced myself. My name is Hunter Quill." He said and started to carry the package into the lobby.

"OH! Well it's nice to meet your acquaintance. I am Jane. Jane Smith." She said in a polite voice, grabbing one of the smaller boxes that she could actually carry.

Hunter looked over at her, not fully believing her. "Like the author?" He asked, placing the box down with the rest.

Jane nodded and laughed nervously once more. "Oh so you have heard of me? Soooo exciting." She said sarcastically.

He walked over to her, placing his hands on her shoulders. "I am such a huge fan. I love your books! They make me feel like I am living in that fake reality. You really catch the suspense and fear that the characters you create. They are my favorite horror mystery books! They help me get through life!" He said, absolutely excited to meet the other.

She just nodded, feeling a lot more nervous by the words he said. "O-Oh yeah? Well lets hurry and put everything inside before the sun sets and it gets cold out." She said, only to move out the way, letting his arms drop to his side.

After they finished unloading the boxes, they sat down on the three steps ouside the front door that led to the floor.

"Thank you for all your help. It means so much. What can I do to repay your gratitude?" She asked softly.

Hunter thought for a moment. "hmm maybe we can go get something to eat sometime this weekend?" He asked softly, smiling a bit.

Jane laughed softly and nodded, taking out her phone.

The two new friends traded numbers and after that, they said their goodbyes. Once the sun set, Jane took out a sleeping bag and laid it on the floor where her bedroom was going to be, and slept soundly.

The next morning, Jane decided to do her morning routine which was go for a run, eat, and work on another chapter for her new book. Once she got dressed into some proper running clothes, she locked her front door. "Just in case." She thought to herself and as soon as she walked down those steps, she began to run into the woods behind her house. Her breathing quickened as she got deeper into the forest. Once she ran about a mile and a half in, she saw a rusted motorhome parked there, abandoned. It looked so old that it was probably immobile. As she ran by, she saw a shadow from the corner of her eye, and then a sudden scream, all within the motorhome. So she ran as fast as she could into town, finding the nearest police station. When Jane arrived, she explained what happened to a police officer.

After they went on a search, she led them to where the motorhome was, to see that... It was no longer there. Almost as if it simply vanished. Nowhere to be see by the young writer and the 6 police men that followed.
