"Alright. Here goes nothing." Karkat said to himself. This was the first step in his music career. He managed to get a timeslot in this venue. Luckily, there aren't high standards here because it's a lowblood area.
a few minutes later...
My lip feels wet... No... Karkat thought to himself. He casually wiped his nose. Oh no... A nosebleed? Now? He looked up. The crowd was silent. "He's a CANDYBLOOD!" Someone yelled. The crowd erupted into a chorus of 'BOOO!'
It's over... I'll never be able to make it... Karkat thought before noticing a troll with small horns, short hair, and dark glasses standing up, biting their hand until they drew blood, and holding up their hands.
Candy Yellow... thought Karkat.
Another troll, this time with long hair, medium horns, and a skirt, took a knife out of their strife deck and drew blood, raising their hand.
Candy Cyan... thought Karkat.
One more troll, this one noticeably androgynous, with fluffy hair, and a hoodie, drew blood on their hand with their claws, and raised it like the two before them.
Candy Magenta... I'm not... alone? Realized Karkat.
Karkat smiled, and hopped down to them, as the venue had cleared out of all other trolls except Terezi and Gamzee.
