| Ian's POV |
I never thought that just from one little fricking stuffed animal, everything would change for me.
~
It was Friday. The one day of the year that I keep regretting; Valentines' Day.
I opened my eyes, groaning at the fact that Anthony, my comedic partner, was most likely already out of the house, looking for someone to hook up with for this evening. I rolled my eyes at that thought and got up out of bed.
As I walked into the kitchen, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes, I was shocked to see Anthony sitting by the table shoving his face full of breakfast food.
"Oh, hey man." He grumbled with his face full of pancakes.
"Uhm, hi. I thought you'd be fucking someone's brains out by now."
He grunted and chuckled a bit at that. "Nah, what's the point of hooking up with someone? I'd rather just chill with my best friend and watch movies than go out with some preppy girl."
I grinned and sat across from him.
"Awh thanks Anthony." I flashed a big smile. "I'd much rather spend my time with you too."
"Can I have some?" I asked, and pointed to the variety of breakfast material.
He half smiled and I ran up to grab a plate.
~
"Awh man, dude that was great!" I grunted and rubbed my stomach.
"Thanks. I like woke up at 10 this morning just to make it." He said and turned away from me.
What was up with him? He always keep running away if I give him a complement or something. I stood up and hugged him from behind.
"Well thanks for doing that. I really appreciated it." I whispered and nuzzled my head into the crook of his neck.
Anthony shivered slightly and melted at my touch, he blushed and tried to get out of my grasp.
"Y-you're welcome." He mumbled and tried to scramble away yet again.
I only held him tighter- taking in everything about him. His warm blushy face, his fluffy hair, his scent- oh god don't even get me started on his scent. Everything about him just made me go wild.
Although, I knew he'd never go out and just cuddle or kiss me. As he made it clear awhile ago- he's not into guys, and he's most definitely not into me. I mentally sighed at this and let him go, as to where he stopped struggling and turned around to look at me.
"W-what's wrong?" he asked, calming himself down from the session we just had.
"I-it's noting. Forget about it." I mumbled and looked down.
He sighed and blushed furiously again.
"Hold on, I'll be right back." He whispered and ran to his room. I heard a door open- which was probably his closet- and close. He came running out with something behind his back and it made me extremely nervous.
"Okay, don't judge or anything- just trust me on this."
I nodded and smiled slightly.
"Ian, w-will you be my valentine?" he mumbled and pulled out a stuffed bear holding a plushy heart saying 'I Love You'
I grinned widely and blushed.
"Anthony I-"
"Yeah I know, it's stupid and everything. You didn't expect this, and I know you probably hate me for throwing you mixed messages but-goddammit man, I love you."
I was speechless. He-he loved me.
"Anthony~!" I squealed and hugged him tightly, making him gasp at my response.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I screamed and hugged tighter.
"I don't know what to say," he whispered. "I was only planning for the worse."
I giggled and smiled. "Well the prove all of that wrong okay?" I pulled away from the hug and kissed his cheek. "Because I'd love to be your Valentine." I whispered and kissed his lips.
He was shocked at first, but then began kissing back. He pulled away and said;
"You idiot why couldn't you have said this years ago?"
I just laughed.
