CH 1

Hyejin POV

In the middle of another dark dead night, the white moon shining bright as the only source of light, I sit over the roof of a house and look straight ahead of me, the castle of the royals.

Gold and jewels, I could smell it from over here, they were gonna be mine. A sly smirk plays on my lips.

I couldn't wait to hear the sound of agony in the voice of the king, when he sees his price possessions gone.

Dressed up in black tights and a black tight t-shirt, I had not forgotten my brown contacts to blend in, I take my knife into my hand. I was hungry for blood, not quite literally, coz I'm not a vampire.

Stealthily I jump from roof top to rooftop until I reach the castle, guards were all over the place, it seems they may have doubled the guard force.

In my pocket I had a sleeping pellets, I quickly take out six of them and shoot it out of a small pipe I had with me.

It shot accurately at the guards neck, causing them to collapse one by one, falling into a deep slumber, I smile at the sight.

Jumping over to the castle, I walk past the guards and quietly walk down the spiral staircase of the right tower.

When I reach the second floor of the castle, another guard stood guarding he door to the tower, he was having the other side so couldn't see me.

Sneaking up to him, I hit him hard on his neck, causing him to fall down unconscious. Smirking, I think how easy it was to get into the palace.

Keeping to the walls, I stealth walk looking around to make sure I was not noticeable to anyone.

But unfortunately for me, I hadn't seen one of them, who was watching me like a hawk.

I reach the room which had all the valuables locked inside. Running my hand together, I take out my password decoder and set it to work.

Unlocking the doors, I open it wide, knowing it was too easy, I take out my spray which would show if there were any hobby traps set, and of course, laser beams all over the place.

I looked around and saw that on the left wall there was a switch of sorts, it would off the laser beams. I take out a small finger sized knife and aim. Throwing it at the switch it hits right on spot and turns off the beams. Yes! I mentally score.

Walking in slowly, I look around at the amount of jewels and gold that were in front of me.

Slowly one by one I collect them and stash them in my bag.

When I was going for the big crown, someone kicked me on the back, pushing me down to my knees, I immediately turn around and turn to choke the person, but he had anticipated my move and grabbed both my hands pushing me to the wall behind me, causing my back to get a bruising hit. Pinning my arms on the wall next to me, he tighten his grip causing my wrists to burn and bruise, and he pushed his body to mine, allowing no space for me to escape from his hold.

He had cut my bag from my shoulder and kicked it across the room with my knife and had disarmed me completely, leaving me with only my physical strength to rely on, which was definitely not enough to fight him off.

I kept struggling to break free, but it wasn't easy, he then leans in and kisses me. HE FRICKING KISSED ME!!!

I try to break away as hard as possible but he tights his lips over mine, leaving me no space to breath.

I was losing oxygen and I could hear the sound of metal, which was getting louder by the second, it meant guards.

As they reach the room, the stranger breaks away, and last go of my arms, causing my body to drop on the floor, as I regain my posture, I try to tackle him but the guards got to me and chained my arms and legs to stop me.

"You really thought you could steal the kings jewels." He scoffs at me. "Take her to the throne room, the king will question her immediately."

"Ofcourse, your highness." One of the guards bow at him and pull me along, but wait a second, he said your highness, which meant he was a royal.
