The Fire That brought us together again

The man sighed, worried. He looked at the heater, it wasn't working. "Jayson, can you call the technicians?"

Just as he spoke the theater light up, "Jayson! Change of plans get the fire extinguisher," the man shouted backing away from the now huge flames.

A minute later a teenager, Jayson, came with the extinguisher. He put out the flames on the heater, but they had already spread to the carpet of the halls behind him and the man.

"Get out Jayson. I'll get the others!" The man ran out of the room after Jayson left.

The man gathered most if seniors and escorted them out, as the fire alarms were going off.

Once they were all out he ran back to get the remaining seniors. After he got the remainder of the seniors out he went to make sure no one was left.

On his way out he was surrounded by a wall of flame. The building was falling apart, wooden boards falling and crashing, making the fire bigger and stronger.

The man started to cough from the smoke. His eyes started to sting from the smoke getting in them.

A wooden board fell on him crushing him, he yelled out for help his eyes watering. A figure seemed to appear above him, grabbing him gently.

His vision went black.
