Xerxes was trying to get ready for his trip with Riley. The bad thing was his parents wouldn't let him go unless he took his little sister and brother Elijah and Melody.

Yeah, he loved them, but just like Kamara, they told their parents everything but kept everything they did to themselves.

Shit, Xerxes begged his father to let Heaven and Neveah go or even Lucas, but they were too far up his ass to him.

The fucking shit was a load of bullshit, plus he wasn't trying to mess this up for Riley. It was something she had been waiting for, and he was just excited as her.

"X, you ready to go. I thought we were going to meet Riley at her home."

"No, I called her. We're meeting her at the airfield. I have something to do before we meet her."

Melody narrowed her eyes at him, making Xerxes chuckle shaking his head because he knew what she was thought.

"Ma and Dad really going to watch King?"

"Yeah, only because they want me to follow you. Trust me. I had to hear an ear full about them watching him."

"And you should have. His dad is a deadbeat. The asshole got you pregnant and ran. If I ever see him again, I'm killing the bastard. Even I wouldn't do that, but I have enough sense not to fuck without a rubber."

Melody stared at him for a moment, then nodded her head; but she wanted to say something but decided against it.

"You not meeting a whore before we leave, are you?"

"What? No. What happened that night at that party was a fuck up. A big one. For some reason, I pissed and did something stupid... I want to get Riley something for her hard work. Come let go."

"Gifts don't make up for your infidelity," Melody said as she walked away, he grabbed her arm, stopping her.

"Let go of me. You have a problem Xerxes, and it's called control. You want your cake and eat it too, but Riley is a good person, and you don't deserve her."

Melody jerked her arm away, shaking her head, making him sigh, walking out the room behind her to the waiting car outside.

"Mel, I know gifts don't make up for what I've done, but I don't need you or none of my siblings rubbing it in my face. I'm going to do better."

She nodded as Elijah got in the car, looking between the two, sighing, running his hands through his hair.

"What you do to my twin X."

"Nothing Assface," Xerxes said, laughing making Melody laugh as they went to pick up Riley's gift then start to the airfield.

Riley was rushing around the house, trying her best to hurry and get ready. Her cousins and sister were making the shit hard.

"Y'all ready?" Riley asked everyone. Finally, they were all in the same fucking room. She was just hoping they would say yeah.

"Yes." Everyone responded. Riley sighed in relief as they all went outside, getting into the huge van waiting for them.

"Where's Xerxes? I thought he was coming?" Peyton asked, making everyone looking around. Xerxes had called her saying he had something to take care of and would meet them at the jet.

"He is. He's meeting us at the jet." Riley told her; Peyton nodded in the back of her head. She was hoping he wasn't coming.

"Riley, can you twist dreads?" Jamon asked her, making Riley nodded. She remembers when her brother had his dreads.
