Chapter 5 - More Family then A Friend?

Chiaki went to the roof to relax and play her games, she put her bag down and sat down, then she got her console out and started to play, while playing she was really focused on the game and didn't hear the footsteps behind her. "What are you doing?" A female voice spoke up, The young gamer turned her head after pausing the game, and saw Ayameko behind her "It's you again, Akamatsu, was it?" The teen asked the assassin, "well that's my last name, My first name is Ayameko. But call me Aya or Meko." Ayameko replied, "so whatcha playing?" The assassin asked as she look at the console Chiaki had, "Uhh you know nobody plays that game anymore right? It's basically crappy as hell" Ayameko said to the gamer "Yeah but I like playing alot of games especially the 'crappy' ones" Chiaki replied, they continued talking till Chiaki asked "What happened to your eye?" She pointed at Ayameko's right eye which the white parts were black, "It happened when i was a kid, but i would rather you mind your own damn ass business or else i will-" Before Ayameko finished er sentence, a male voice spoke up "Aya, Dont please" both girls looked to find the former merchant, "Jeez, what do you want now, Ootori?" Ayameko asked in a sorta pissed off tone, "Don't kill this girl, she's only a teen and she was just curious." He said as her friend Sonia ran up and hugged Chiaki. "Are you alright?" Sonia said to Chiaki with concern, "yeah I'm fine" Chiaki replied
A few moments later.....
Chiaki was walking around till she was nearing the stairs, and soon felt no steps and was about to fall, but someone grabbed her hoodie again, she expected to be Mahiru or Sonia but instead saw Tsurugi, and he pulled her back away from the stairs, "You really don't pay attention when your playing your game, do you?" He said, kinda irritated, "Sorry, I'm always focused on my games, and i don't pay attention at all" The young gamer said, Knowing he was kinda mad, she had paused her game before he spoke, The Chief looked at her and petted her head while saying "It's fine but you need to be more careful" she softly smiled and nodded her head, "You know your kinda acting like a father or something" Chiaki said while giggling, which made Tsurugi blush a little, "W-Well that's only because-" Before he finished that sentence, he then heard a yawn coming from the gamer, "How much sleep are getting at night at your old home?" He asked Chiaki with concern, "....Not much, I mostly stay up playing games" She replied, He looked at her with a 'really?' Look on his face before sighing, and looked at her console, she noticed it, "before you say anything, i know the game is 'crappy' but i like playing those games" she said and was about to leave but was stopped, "About the killing game you and your friends took part in, What do you mean, 'your weren't like the others'? That had me confused for a while" he asked her, Chiaki thought for a moment till finally speaking up but barely, "W-Well....Can we talk about it, somewhere else...Please?" She manage to studder out of her mouth, Tsurugi was kinda concern and confused but accepted her offer as for it was clear it was something not to be said when they are in the hallway
In the breakroom.....
Both were sitting down opposite from each other, Chiaki was quiet till she took a deep breath and spoke, "In the killing game i was in, i was...a-an AI, and my friends were mind controlled by a woman named Junko Enoshima, they were turned into an terrorist group called the Remnants of Despair, or Ultimate Despair..." She managed to say but after looking back at those horrible memories of them killing other people, she started to cry alittle. She tried to wipe her tears off but was soon pulled into a hug. "It was painful for you, right? Well, i know how that feels, my father was working for Junko Enoshima, i found out and after becoming the Chief, I confronted him, and...." He was silent for a moment before speaking up again "I killed him" He spoke out, he expected her to be scared of him but she hugged him back, "if you wanna talk about it, I'm ok with it" She said in a calming voice, 'S-She's....Not....Scared of me?' They were in the hug before Chiaki fell asleep, The Chief sighed, sat down and put the gamer's head on his lap, allowing her to sleep for a while
