You make me feel things I didn't believe in anymore.

Y/n clicked the join call button. "KISS ME" sapnap yelled piercing y/n's ears. "What the hell is going on" y/n said quickly "George won't kiss me!" Sapnap said in annoyance clay had been laughing the whole time his classic tea kettle laugh. "Well it's alright now because your girlfriends here sappy" George said clay immediately stopped laughed and went silent "you wish" y/n said quickly trying to get out of this awkward moment.

Why did clay go silent usually he would find something like that hilarious but he just went silent. Did this have something to do with earlier? Surly not they're just friends. Right? Of course they're just friends they only met a few days ago.

"Yeah mamas I do wish" sapnap barley managed to spit out through his laughs "oh god what a 'hey mamas' guy" clay mentioned "guys I don't say hey mamas I never say hey mamas I swear" y/n zoned out as they went on arguing.

She felt safe with clay and that's saying something because she tends to stay away from any sort of social interaction but clay made her feel like the only person in the world, he made her feel perfect.

They continued on with the stream for a few hours just playing minecraft messing around making jokes nothing really special happened.

After a couple more hours they all decided to end their streams and raid some smaller channels.

"That was fun we should do that more often" George said "yeah y/n makes a great addition to the team" sapnap mentioned "agreed" clay put in "no way! I'm just a rando" "a perfect rando" clay put in. They continued talking for a couple minutes before y/n received a text.

Hey is it alright if I tell the boy the story of how me and you met up?

Yeah of course

Alright I just wanted to make sure you were okay with it.

That was sweet of him. "Guess what guys" clay said followed with a bunch of 'what' s "i have a funny story to tell you guys" "go on" sapnap added "me and y/n actually met up in real life" clay slowly said "what when how" George said shocked "well it was a funny story actually that night we first talked when me and y/n left to get food we both ended up going to the same place long story short we talked I walked her home and boom she lives two doors down from me"

Clay left out the whole creepy guy following her part. Y/n appreciated that. "What the fuck" sapnap managed to spit out after being silent for a little to long "there's no way you've gotta be lying right now" sapnap then said "nope he's telling the truth I didn't believe it at first either" y/n added "so you just so happened to go to the same restaurant and just so happened to start talking not knowing what either of y'all look like and just so happen to live two doors down from eachother I'm not buying it" sapnap added

y/n could hear a slight hint of anger in his voice but decided to ignore it. "No deadass man I'm not joking with you" clay said "then go talk into her mic" sapnap snapped back "uh" is all y/n could say before she heard a knock at the door "what the fuck" sapnap started "come in" y/n managed to get out before clay opened the door and walked over. "See man I'm not joking"

Clay was leaning over y/n's shoulder. Very close. "Uh that's cool guys but I've got to go it's really late here" George said before leaving the call. "Damn" is all sapnap said before leaving as well "is it just me or did he sound mad to you" y/n said breaking the silence "that's just nick being nick he gets angry for no reason sometimes" clay said "ah alright" y/n's stomach started growling really loud 'fuck' y/n thought 'please don't hear it please don't hear it' "have you eaten today?" Of course he heard it. "Uh no actually"

"Let's go get something I'm craving McDonald's fries and hot Cheetos" clay said excitedly "that actually sounds amazing clay" the two looking into each others eyes realized how close they were nearly inches apart y/n quickly broke the silence "alright let's go do you want to drive?" Clay fixed his shirt and said "yeah let me just go grab my keys real quick" "alrighty" clay then walked out the door leaving y/n alone. Just her and her thoughts.

Did he mean to be that close? Was he going to kiss me? What the fuck is going on?

Clays POV

As I walked out of her apartment I started thinking did she mean to get that close? I mean I did, I really like her and I want to make a move but is she ready? Does she like me back? Questions were rushing through my mind going 100 miles an hour. The last thing I want to do is ruin our relationship we just met a few days ago I should wait. Right?

I grabbed my keys and made my way back to y/n's apartment she was now sitting on her couch scrolling on Twitter god she's so beautiful even just sitting there she just looks like a goddess. "Earth to clay" shit did she notice me staring "uh sorry I spaced out can you say that again" "yeah no problem I just asked if you were ready to go" god her voice is angelic.

I hate to admit it but it pained me having to listen to nick flirt with her. It's clear he likes her he's so bad at hiding it but I don't think y/n knows because she hasn't said anything about it. Fuck I'm never like this but she just makes me so happy I can't lose her.
