A week had passed since the body of Jason Blossom had been found. With a bullet wound in his head. A week since Cheryl and Phlox Summers lost their other half. To some, it was a strange relationship that was a beautiful thing between those three.
Phlox was at the Blossoms manor. They had asked for a bunch of purple flowers to be delivered; for Jason. The atmosphere was thick as they watched phlox unload the truck of Fp Jones. Their eyes glared at her while she moved. She could feel them digging at her. When she had finished with the last vase she was quick to leave. Not wanting to be anywhere near them. She should feel guilty about how things went down between them. Helping their only son escape or well die. She didn't though. That's what scared her the most.
After leaving the Blossoms she went to the Andrews household to drop off the flowers Fred had called and asked for. They were going to see Mrs. Grundy perform. The fact that it was Fred asking for the flowers and not Archie surprised her a little. Well, a lot. Knocking on the door she held the flowers in her right hand as she tried to fix her kitty heels. Leaning a little too much to the left she stumbled..right into the chest of Archie Andrews. Letting out a startled gasp she pushed herself away. Laughing she could feel herself going red in the face as the Andrew men stared at her, with amusement on their faces. "Sorry, Archie. My shoes have been bothering me since the Blossoms." Letting out a small laugh she handed over the flowers. "That will be $10.50" She had lowered the price from the original twenty. Fred handed over the money. "I thought it was twenty?" He asked confused. Smiling at him she shook her head. "You have been so nice and I was hoping I could talk to you about something. Sometime soon." Glancing down at her hands she shyly smiled up at them. "Hopefully She likes them. They're a mixer of Campabula's. I went with blue and white, seeing as that's the colors she wears most." Looking over at Archie she sent a little smirk towards the boy. "Or at least when I see her helping Archie out. " Archie let out a nervous chuckle and shuffled his feet. Fred smiled while clapping his son on the shoulder. He had a proud but somewhat confused smile on his face. Mistaking the slight jab at his son for flirtation. From what he and the townspeople have seen Phlox summer was a quiet girl who never really showed interest in anyone other than the Blossom twins.
Fred thought Phlox was a lovely girl. Maybe a bit odd but respectable. "He seems to be enjoying himself." Archie could feel the enjoyment coming off phlox, he couldn't help but feel frustrated though. Who was she to know anything? Not a friend, no one. Phlox could tell by Archies tense shoulders. He had a thin-lipped smile. "Dad." The tips of his ears went red but phlox just smiled. "I'm sure Betty is really proud of him." With one last smile full of fake sweetness, she turned and left. Leaving the Andrew men feeling different things. One of suspicion and confusion. The other was full of frustration and fear.I couldn't find a picture of the flower arrangements I was picturing so go with that^.
