~Karen p.o.v.~

The dance at our school was in full swing, almost every one was on the dance floor. My friends and I dancing like it was nobody's business. The song ended and was replaced by a very slow guitar and some guy singing about his girlfriend.

" Alright everyone, the last slow dance of the evening, boys choice!" the DJ says over the mic. All around, guys were grabbing their girlfriends and holding them.

" Uh, I'm gonna go get a soda." I said quickly as I crossed the the gym floor, weaving in between couples dancing. I was almost to the door when suddenly, Sora bumped into me.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" He tried to shout over the loud music. I looked at the ground not making eye contact, feeling my heart beat a little faster. I had a huge crush on him, and got flustered when I'm around him. I mumbled a quiet apology, and tryed to get past him out the door. He then moved over and blocked my path.

"Uh, hey, uh I was wondering..." he paused, as if looking for the right way to ask. " I was just wondering, would you like to dance?"

My mouth spoke before my brain could process what he had said "I'd love to dance." I said. He took my hand in his and my heart fluttered as if there were butterflies in my chest. He pulled me along and he were towards the front of the room. He put his hands on my waist and started to sway lightly back and forth. I put my hands around his neck awkwardly, swaying to the beat. I looked up to see him staring at !y face, and it was as if I was in a trance, for I could not look away from his perfect face. His light brown eyes, his perfect hair, despite the fact that he had probaby been dancing more than I had. He stayed like that till the song sadly ended. He dropped his arms and I dropped mine.

"Please make your way to the exits, have a good evening!" the DJ announced. I walked out of the gym, and Sora followed. I was almost off campus when he got in font of me, blocking my path.

"I just wanted to tell you" he started, "that I really like you, and I wanted to ask if you would go out with me?" He looked slightly embarrassed, his face slightly blushing.

"Yes." I replied simply. The biggest smile appeared on his face, and I couldn't help but smile as well. He then grabbed me in a warm embrace, and I rested my head on his shoulder. We stayed that way for a long time, and eventually we let go of each other, feeling a loss of warmth that was once there. He then bent his head down and placed a soft kiss on my lips, and it felt like my heart had stopped. It was gentle and careful, but still full of passion. He then broke the kiss and looked at me with his warm gaze.

"See you tomorrow, Love." he said and turned to walk home. I felt like dropping to my knees right there and start crying kawaii tears of joy, but then, just before Sora turned off campus he turned back around and said " I'm sorry for "accidently" running into you." He put air quotews around accidenty. I just chuckled a bit to myself, and continued to walk home.
