“My mom.” Nagisa replies. Rei’s heart sinks a little deeper because her know it’s a lie. Nagisa walks over and grabs Rei’s hands and gives him a peck on the lips. Smiling, “Ready for school?” Rei nods and tries to smile.

Why did he lie? What is he hiding?

So many questions ran through Rei’s head as he followed Nagisa out of his house.
