His Star Girl

Chapter 1: The first stares..

You're woken up by your alarm going off, you open your eyes and looks around. You had totally forgotten you had moved to California. Everything felt different. You let out a sigh and got up, you check the time to see it was 7:13. "Shit I'm late!-" You mumble under your breathe while quickly taking some jeans and a hoodie to wear. You hear your mom from downstairs shouting "Y/n come on you are going to be late!" You quickly run downstairs and eat some breakfast fast. You get in the car and your mom drives you to school. You start arguing with your mom.
-"I can't go in there alone! You have to come with me." you say, nervous. 
-"Sweetie, you can make it alone. Now go! You'll be late." your mom says.
You argue a bit more and then decide to go out alone. 
As you walk out of the car you feel your heart beating faster and your breathing get a bit heavier. You had anxiety and you were very nervous for your first day of school.
As you walk in, you're looking down to your feet, mumbling things to yourself about what could go wrong and suddenly bump into a guy. The girl behind him shouts at you "Watch where you're going!" You noticed a huge resemblance to the girl and the guy. He introduces himself.
-"It's fine, don't worry about it. Wait- You're the new girl, right? I'm James."
He stares into your eyes and you stare back into his beautiful hazel eyes.
-"H-hello-" You stammer. "I'm y/n." You say still staring at his eyes.
There was a 30 seconds pause with both of you staring at each other eyes. 
-"This is my sister, Michelle." James introduces his sister to you.
-"Nice to meet you, Michelle." You smile. "Do you know where the Principal's office is?"
-"Yes, I'll show you." James say. 
You follow him to the Principal's office. 
-"Thank you!" You tell him with a wide smile on your face. 
-"See you around y/n." He says and then walks away.
You take a deep breathe and knock on the door. 
-"Come in." You hear a voice from inside the room.
You walk in and you see the secretary waiting for you. 
-"You must be y/n." she says. You nod and she gives you some information about the school and then shows you the way to your class. When you get in the classroom you notice that James and Michelle were there. You smiled. 
-"We have a new student." said the teacher to the class. He turned to you. "Introduce yourself."
-"My name is y/n and I wish we can all get along and be friends." 
You noticed that there was a girl whispering to a boy. But that boy didn't seem like he was paying attention to her. He was staring at you. Looking up and down at you. The girl clapped her hands in front of his face. 
-"Hello? Ethan?" she said. You realized that was his name. You were sitting behind them since that was the only place left. You stared at Ethan. He had blonde hair with blue eyes. He turned his head and caught you staring, he smiled.
-"Hey there." He whispers to you. 
You keep staring into his dreamy blue ocean eyes for a moment. 
-"H-hi-" You stammer in amazement. 
The other girl that was sitting beside Ethan calls to the teacher.
-"She pulled my hair!" She turns her head around and looks at you with a smirk on her face.
-"I did not!" You say nervously.
-"Detention, miss y/n." The teacher says. 
You grab your books and put them in your backpack, you get out of the classroom and walk to detention. As you walk out you notice Ethan coming out too. Following you into detention. You look at him.
-"What happened?" You ask him in curiosity.
-"Oh nothing, I just thought I could spend time with you." He says while winking. 
You sigh and walk in detention. You sit in a chair and the person charged to look over you in detention starts speaking. Ethan looks at you with a smile carved on his face. You smile back.
-"Psst. Let's skip." He whispers to you.
You look at him and sigh then shake your head meaning no. 
-"Come oooooon y/n!" He whispers again. 
-"No." You say with a serious look on your face. 
He sighs and mumbles.
-"No fun." 
You smile and after a while you finish detention. Then you go back to your locker to grab some books. You see the girl who lied to the teacher coming close to you with 2 other girls with her.
-"Hey new girl." She tells you and throws yur books to the ground. "Don't speak to my boyfriend again got it? Or else I'll make your life here a living hell." 
-"I can do whatever I want." You say, trying too be brave.
You walk out of school and walk home, since it's pretty close to school. You see James in your way there. 
-"Hi James!" You tell him with a smile on your face. 
-"Hey." He smiles back.
-"Hello!-" Michelle shouts. 
-"Hey, I should get going now. Bye guys!" You tell them then walk back home. 
You tell your mom all about your day and then start doing homework. You get ready to go to bed but before that. You go to the window and watch the stars. Your dad was an astrologer and he loved the stars and so did you. Every night he would come to your room when you were little and tell you everything he knew about the stars. You stared at them for a bit and then went to sleep.
