I'm awakened by my alarm clock beeping. I groan in annoyance and soon after hit the thing to make it stop. Its numbers flash brightly as if it were taunting me. 7:30. Flashes in red. I sit up in my dark room the only sources of light are from underneath my door and from my open window. I throw the covers off of my tan skin. I stretch my tippy toes down to the cool carpeted floor of my medium sized room. I uneasily stand up and stretch making my tanktop inch up a few inches exposing some skin to the cool morning air. I shiver a little while walking into my walk in closet. My eyes expertly inspect every piece of fabric. I soon decide on a maroon crop top and some dark washed high waisted jean booty shorts. I walk a few more steps in and look at my many racks of shoes. My eyes rake over many pairs until they stop at a pair of maroon high topped converse. I walk out of my closet and go over to my vanity in its mirror I see a girl with half black half white hair unruly hanging about. Dark purple eyes that almost look black and nearly flawless skin. I look down at my jewelry and chose a few rubber bracelets with my favorite bands. A pair of gold hoop earnings and a necklace my dad had given to me before he died. It had a simple gold chain and and a wolf head charm. He told me that it will protect me and will be my reminder that he's watching over me. I walk into my bathroom and get changed and do my business.
I walk into my large kitchen and see Lizza my favorite house keeper cooking waffle. Yes I said house keeper if you haven't noticed yet then I'll tell you my family is very wealthy. Most kids at my school dislike me for having money or they want to be my "friends" to have a higher rank in popularity. I quickly scarf down my waffles thank Lizza and head out the door to go to school.
I pull my sleek black lambergeni into the parking lot and park in my usual spot that's close to the front doors. I open my door and meet a few peoples gazes. My two only true best friends walk up to me.
"Lux!" Brina yells gleefully. The tone of her voice tells me she's up to something or she has some juicey gossip. My other best friend Wesley just casually leans against the side of my baby. His gaze fixated on Bri a look of love and protection evident in his eyes. Wes had raven black hair styled in an "I woke up like this" do. Even leaning against my car Bri and I were like the height of midgets compared to him we even looked weak compared to his strong build. Wes was attractive but I had no interest in guys or girls. To me relationships were pointless, besides I like being single.
"Bri! Wes! Oh my gosh I know I saw you yesterday but what's new?" I reply in the same manner Bri greeted me with. Bri's green orbes lit up even more if that's even possible.
"We have a new student!" She replies in an excited tone. Before we could finish our conversation the bell rang announcing that we had five minutes until we had to start classes. Since Bri and wes' first class was on the other side of the school we had to say a quick goodbye before parting ways.
I walked down the halls to get to my first class. I was in my own world thoughts swirling around in a large frenzy. I bumped into a wall. No it wasn't a wall but it was a hot guy. I hadn't seen him around so he must be the new kid. I was blushing uncontrollably from embarrassment of bumping into him and also because he was just plain hot. He looked down at me he had blue hair. Hmm blues my favorite color and his blue locks were styled in an scene hair style. His black geek glasses framing his face perfectly. They brought out his stormy grey-blue eyes. His lips were a perfect kissable pink he had a light blush that made me just want to kiss him even more. Snap out of it. I thought and what was I just thinking.
"I'm so sorry I should of been looking where I was going!" I gush hoping that he'll understand and forgive me.
"It's fine. But do you happen to know where AP biology is?" He said in a gruff voice. It had a soft and almost shy tone to it. To me it was the perfect voice. It was like I couldn't get enough of it. He has the same class as me.
