"Do you have him?"
"Almost..."
"Find it, now."
"I'm working on it...and- ah, there he is."
A brunette man sat at a small desk, computer glaring into his glasses as he clicked and tapped away. He leaned back as a hand grabbed his shoulder, before a figure leaned out of the darkness.
"The Winter Soldier," Lorenzo let out with a bit of venom, eyes squinting at the screen displaying the picture of Bucky. His face was banged up, with varying scratches and bruises, but he was well and alive despite the crash. The screen flashed to Sam's picture next, then Violet's to which Lorenzo bit his lip.
"Any idea who the lady is," the brunette man asked, looking up at Lorenzo. It was evident the guy was just a lackey, nobody of higher importance.
"No...but I'll find out soon," he promised darkly, raising up and leaving the man back to his computer work.

Oddly, I didn't have any strange dreams that night. I went to sleep normally and woke up in the early hours of the morning as usual. My body wasn't sore anymore, thanks to my natural ability to heal faster than the average human.
That was the other thing: I wasn't human.
Or at least I was, but was a different species of human.
Naturally, Fury had me examined and they found that I healed faster, was more durable, and stronger than the normal human. My DNA was very close to humans, save for a few chromosomes.
They didn't know exactly what to call me, so the doctor made a name up: Homosuperion. Fury never disclosed it to anyone, so it's only me, him, and the doctor that know. As I pulled myself out of the bed, I could hear the soft sound of music drift down the hallway. I pulled a t-shirt over my head and quietly left my room, following the music until I stopped just short of Bucky's open room door.
I hesitated, not wanting to intrude, but I had never heard that kind of music before. It sounded old, but not in a bad way. It didn't sound anything like I had heard now. As I gained my bravery once more, I slowly peeked around the corner. Bucky was facing away, shirtless, tapping his foot to the sound of the music. I don't know why, but I couldn't look away. His back was muscular, perfectly fit from the years of training and being an assassin no doubt. There were still a few scrapes and bruises from the previous night, dotting his body randomly. My eyes were so busy traveling that it took me a moment to register that he turned around.
"Violet?"
I blinked and straightened from my position, feeling my cheeks enflame.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to...to, um," I fumbled, trying very hard to avert my eyes. Bucky cleared his throat and reached over to the small radio sitting on the nightstand.
"Sorry was the music too loud," he started his fingers twisting the knob until the music wasn't as loud anymore.
"No it wasn't that loud. I just never heard that kind of music before," I admitted slowly, looking back up at him. His eyes lit up slightly and he smiled.
"Is that so? I have a few old records... I can let you listen some time," he insisted. I could feel my lips turn up into a slight smile.
"I'd really enjoy that."
Bucky paused and again the tough soldier had slipped and the soft eyed man emerged. He eyed me for what seemed like an eternity. I finally blinked and gave him a closed lip smile before starting to make my awkward exit. I didn't know why but in the small moments between the seriousness of what was around us, I felt like Bucky was just a man, and I just a woman and the fluttering in my chest was more than just mission jitters.
