As I made my way out of the great hall, my face still bright red and my throat hurting from laughter I couldn't help but think about Remus. Had he done it for me? Because of what Marcus said in potions? If he had, did he mean it in a "I'm doing this because you are my friend and I don't like when people disrespect you." kind of way or " I am doing this because you are my friend but I also fancy you and don't want other guys to think about you that way."

      The second reason seemed unlikely and made my face turn even brighter red.  Maybe it was both, but that seemed even more unlikely, there was no way in hell that Remus Lupin fancied me. I made my way thru common room to get ready for the trip to Hogsmeade. As I entered my dorm I saw that it was empty, I walked into the bathroom taking my hair of the ponytail I had it in, brushing it out  and turning on the straightener, framing my hair around my face. About ten minutes after I started getting ready Lily, Marlene, and Mary came in.

      "What are you guys going to wear?" Mary asked digging thru her trunk trying to find an outfit. "I want to match." "Hold on I have an outfit picked out already" I said walking out of the bathroom, I took a brown turtle neck, high waisted jeans, and long brown coat off the top of my trunk.  "Ok, I know what I'm gonna wear than."

     Mary said, grabbing a long tan coat, tan plaid skirt, and a white turtleneck with a small beige knit vest out of her trunk. Marlene decided to wear a pair of jeans with a white t-shirt and a red flannel , Lily decided on a tan knit sweater and a black skirt. "You're the only one who doesn't match." Mary said to Marlene as we walked down to the common room, "So?" Marlene queried, "I'm just saying it would've been nice if you matched is all."

        "Well I don't thin-" Marlene started before getting cut off by Lily, "Can you guys not fight? I want today to be good." After that it was quiet until we reached where the boys were waiting. Sirius was wearing a white T-shirt, a black leather jacket and black jeans, James  was wearing  a dark blue sweater over top of a white collar shirt, and dark blue jeans. Peter wore a black shirt tucked into tan dress pants, a long wool coat and a small red scarf, and Remus was dressed in a baggy brown knit sweater and brown  corduroy pants. He looked nice, they all did.

    Upon arrival at the village, which was buzzing with excitement, we saw Dorcas Meadowes and Yaz Patil walking together, hand in hand. Peter and Marlene both looked away quickly, Peter had recently gotten dumped by Dorcas and Marlene broke up with Yaz about a year ago, still no one said a thing as we passed them. We walked into the three broomsticks and sat in a booth against the back wall. James gestured at the barkeep for drinks, he nodded at the gesture and disappeared behind the bar. I shifted in my seat trying to get comfortable, I was pressed between Remus and Lily, Lily who also had no space to move was pressed between Peter and I.  "Tight fit isn't it" James said from his seat on the end by Sirius. We all mumbled a shared response 'yes'.

Soon our drinks where brought to us and we each started our own conversations. "You're a Pisces, right?" I asked Remus, "Yeah I think so, why?" He questioned me. "Oh I was just wondering."

I responded, smiling. "And you're a Scorpio, right?" He asked, looking me in the eyes now, "Yeah, like Sirius." I laughed. "Oi, what are you saying about me over there?" Sirius questioned, looking over at us.

Calm down padfoot we're talking about our signs." Remus said back. "Your what?" Sirius looked at us like we were daft. "Our zodiac signs, Sirius. We have the same one."

"Oh, wait what are we?" He asked, "Scorpio's." "Nice. So Liz did you think about what I asked you?" Sirius was talking again, "Yes, and the answer is no." I said taking a sip of my butterbeer.

About two days ago

"Come on Lizzy it would mean so much to me." Sirius whined, tugging at my sleeve like a puppy. "For the last fucking time Sirius no, I am not going to flirt with a professor just so you can do another one of your stupid pranks." "Pleeeeaasseee" he begged, "Could you think about it at least?" "Hmm okay. Thinking about, yeah it's still a no."

I quickly turned walking out of the library. "Please Liz" He asked again, now walking after me, trying to catch up. It didn't take him too long, his legs where longer than mine. "I bet you could score points with moony." I turned around quickly staring at him, He was smirking at me "Oh come on you obviously fancy him."

He said with that stupid Sirius black smile. I grabbed his sleeve and pulled him into the nearest broom closet "I don't know what you're talking about." I whispered, we where standing close, our chest's were touching. "I see the way you look at him, we all do." His breath was warm and strands of his hair kept brushing against my cheek.

"Just think about it okay?" "Fine."

"What are you on about?" Lily asked, "Sirius wants me to shag a professor." "WHAT!?!?" All of our friends eyed us, mouths open, eyes going from me to Sirius every few seconds. It was silent for a few moments, "Uhm since no one is saying anything i'll go first. What the fuck."

James glared at Sirius shifting away from him slightly, "It wasn't like that, I simply asked if she would contribute to a prank is all." Sirius smiled slightly taking a sip of his drink. "What do you mean "contribute to a prank", what are you talking about?" Remus asked with a puzzled look. "I need her to flirt with Professor Curie so that I can get into his classroom and put a jumbo dung bomb under his desk. I'm gonna put a timer on it, than when the slytherins go in for their class I can block the door from the outside and hear them suffer."

"That doesn't even count as a prank tho" Peter said, "Wormy, one day you will understand the pure complexity of my pranks." Sirius sighed. "Oh yeah because putting a dung bomb in a classroom is such a complex thing." Mary said, leaning her head against Marlene. "See this is why I don't share my ideas with you." He said looking at her and rolling his eyes slightly before turning back to his drink.

"So, why do need Liz for this?" Remus asked, still staring at Sirius. "Because it would be more fun that way." Sirius laughed, "Oh yeah it would be hilarious." I said looking at Sirius now, we made eye contact for a second, he smirked at me subtly, I looked away quickly, I brushed it off, Sirius had a very flirty personality.

We talked about the prank for a little longer, I agreed to do it. After that the boys decided to go to Zunko's joke shop for "supplys". The girls and I went to 'Tea&Cakes', and we all decided to meet at Honeydukes afterwards.

Remus's POV

"I still can't believe she's actually going to do it." I said, dropping my bags and falling back on to my bed, "Me neither." Sirius said, smiling like an idiot. "What's going on with you?" James asked Sirius, "You're acting weird."

"It's nothing I've just been thinking is all." He responded, still smiling. "It's never a good thing when you spend to much time thinking." Peter spat at him, exiting the bathroom. "Yeah well you don't spend enough time thinking."

Sirius spat back, they stared at eachother for a second before James said something, "Evan's looked good today." "Oh bloody hell don't start." Sirius whined burying his face into his pillow. "What?! They all looked good i'm just saying Evans looked good, ya know?"

"Yeah we know." The three of us responded in unison. It was silent again. "Liz looked good." Sirius said from his bed, "What do you mean?"

I asked, sitting up now. "I just mean that she looked good. What I can't compliment my friends now?" Sirius said, also getting up. "Yeah well you say a lot of girls 'look good' so forgive me for being curious."

" What? I suppose you think I want to shag Liz than?" "I never said that." "Yeah but you're thinking it aren't you?" Silence. "Bloody hell moony, even if I did want to shag her which I don't .

You couldn't stop me because the two of you aren't dating. Because you don't have the balls to ask her out. So why don't you take my advice, do it before someone else does." Sirius said, stomping out of the room. I sighed and fell back on to my bed again "Git."
