"Just another day at my amazing job" I think jokingly to myself washing off dishes as I push them through the Machine. Glazing at the clock I see I have about 2 hours left till I have to get my cash drawer.. "how dreadful"- I say out loud with out thinking. I start to hear foot steps creeping up behind me. "Hey ____, we have some shipment on the back dock. I need you to grab it and put it out in the cooler area. Thank you." My mangers says in stern but some how loving voice. I nod while rolling my eyes slightly. "Sure, I'll put it up. Might take my a a little while but I'll be back.!" I reply walking always, praying she doesn't follow me.. "hopefully I'll get some peace and quite away from these folks." I think, walking with my eyes trace around the room. Finally making it outside, I see about 20 boxes and a few other odds and ends... so I push my sleeves up and get right to work.. I run a few boxes inside, already sweating a little.. "man, I wish I had a cart.. this shit is going to take all day." I think to myself while grabbing another box and shuffling to the back. Of course the 3 shelves I can reach without a step stool are all full.. so I have to find away to start putting them all the way on the top shelf. "I wish I was just alittle taller, maybe life wouldn't be so damn hard." I slight scream out loud kicking a box.
I grab a milk crate from the back dock and throw It down on the ground.. all you can hear is the echo of the loud bang.. it's so quite outside, no one bothering you... it's perfect..
I place the few boxes I have brought back on the shelve and hop down to go grab some more.. On my way around the cooler I hear this weird sound... kinda sounded like a door closing but I didn't hear the gate open, nor did I hear foot steps.. so I just shrug it off.. "maybe the wind..?" I think not trying to freak myself out.. I grab the door, pushing it open just enough to grab a few more boxes in my hands.. I reach my destination once again. Slamming the boxes down As hit the pavement once again walking back to the door to grab more, I few trips later I get all the boxes behind the cooler..
