Hidden By Insanity

Chapter One

Insanities day started quite peculiar for her; instead of waking up in her cell bitten by Deceit's snakes she started it with appearing in her host's living room. She started off by watching the light sides talk about how it was important for Thomas to spend his money wisely. Looking at the group boredly Insanity silently grumbled as she heard Sanity as he kept siding with Logic. It was getting quite irritating as they all fought not even seeing her arrival. She still remembered the conversation she had before appearing in Thomas's living room. It was with her and someone she thought of as a snake. Just like every day since she remembered Insanity was always by the snakes side. No matter if it were for conversation or to be his punching bag like always she found herself staying.

Thinking back to the conversation Insanity glared at the snakes words as he whispered in her ear while holding onto her shoulders. "Don't you feel included...Not forgotten at all." He had whispered to her. Once the words left his mouth Insanities mind rambled and shouted in outrage. They were forgetting her, they were leaving her out. Didn't she have a say in this, didn't she have a voice that should be heard?

Shaking out of her thoughts Insanity saw her brother sitting down right in front of her with herself sitting on top of the couch he sat on. Getting her glare to harden as he to was ignoring her presence. But it didn't last long as Insanity looked up as she felt herself impacting Thomas. With wild crazy eyes Insanity smiled seeing Thomas zoning out. Almost letting out a chuckle Insanity looked away from her host to the light sides who just now was starting to notice her arrival.

Once Logic, or rather known as Logan, spotted her he's own eyes widened with surprise before frowning as he noticed something. Insanities wide smile dropped becoming a distasteful frown. Yet once she saw him looking at her Logan thought saw her eyes gleam as if she thought of an idea. When Virgil saw her he instantly shut down not talking or showing anything but shock as he stared at her with wide eyes. Patton on the other hand took action trying to district Thomas from Insanities presence.

"H...hey kiddo…" He stuttered out, "I think we should make a shopping list. Anyone else? We could add lots of stuff like uhhh more cloths?"

Sanity, other known as Benny, smiled from his seat. Not knowing what was happening he agreed with his friend while spitting up more productive ideas. However at his friends ignorance Logan frowned now becoming confused, shouldn't they be concerning the problem? Yet as he opened his mouth to object and get them all to notice the bigger picture. But it all didn't matter as Logan noticed how his friends ignorance to her arrival was affecting the girl. Which had now distinguished her happy attitude replacing it with anger. Yet Roman seemed all in to the idea of distracting Thomas as he, unlike Logan, actually voiced his opinion.

"Shopping list? Ooo clothes! Yes we can all agree that Thoams need a new change of style." Roman had voiced only for Insanity to see this as a challenge. Getting her distasteful look to morph into something near evil and mischievous. Forcing her affect on Thomas to become stronger as she whispered nonsense words to him. Nearly giggling as she saw his eyes become less focused. Her words and tone becoming sweet yet cracked is if she were in an asylum the longer she whispered.

Hearing the whispers Benny turned around and jumping to his feet once he noticed it was his sister. Panicked Benny looked away from Insanity and to his friends trying to voice his opinion louder. "Yes I think clothes is a great idea, he could finally change his shirt." He spoke nervously trying to keep Thomas thinking about something rational by adding a little humor to his words.

Patton also trying to help decided to suggest some food items. "What about some chips! He needs snake items." He spoke with fake enthusiasm as he looked around the room before stopping on Insanity. "He could get a new hoodie…." Virgil piped in quitely.

With the mention of a new hoodie Roman nodded with a smile, for once he agreed with the emo. "Oh yes and he could one that's more colorful to get away from all the dull colors" he told happily.

Yet Logan sighed as he remembered that they had done the same with Remus when he arrived. Getting fed up Logan opened his mouth only to see that the new arrival had now gotten off the couch and had her arms looped around Thomas's neck. With a smile she put her head on his shoulder as she kept whispering in his ear, like Remus, she made everyone's voices drown out in the background. Making sure her voice was being heard and giggles when she noticed his unfocused eyes.

Patton and Virgil both stopped talking once they realized it was useless. He wasn't hearing them at all, he was only hearing her. Benny had sighed in realisation as he greeted his sister from where he stood. "Fancy seeing you here.." He spoke with a exhausted smile.

Thomas gasped and stiffened breaking out of his dazed state as he turned around quickly to notice her. "Wha...Who are you?" He asked looking around confused to find the others quite. "Logan?"

With small giggles Insanity smiled. "Oh how foolish of me. Hello.." She told moving away from her host. "I am Insanity." As she finished Logan frowned even more. He didn't like what she was told she represented. If she was telling the truth then how was Thomas's state of mind? Upon realizing Thomas was looking at him Logan shrugged.
