Eggsilant start.

I wake up to music playing, its techno music.. Is that what I listened to? I open my eyes and see my brother holding his phone near my ear.

Closing them again I swat his hand away, "get up for school AJ" my eyes shot open and I jump out of bed. Then steading myself suddenly feeling light headed.

James hands clutch my forearm and bicep helping my steady "take it easy AJ you may feel fine but you still have head damage" he says as jokely as he can for the serious words.

I nod my head indicating I'm fine and pick out some clothes of my wardrobe.

I get ready for school and about half an hour later I'm done. James drives me to school, his driving less than the speed limit and there is no music or voices.

Silence.

"How are you?" I try to start a convo but he shushes me and tells me not while he is driving.

James and I are standing at the school entrance. I stare at the huge school sign. Everyone is staring at James and I and whispering. Someone walks over to me and cracks an egg on James's head then shouts out 'loser' as he walks off.

James take a step towards him but I grab his hand, he looks at me hessitantly and I shake my head. I look up at the sign once more and take a huge deep breath "here we go..."
