chapter nine

I groaned as I leaned against the staurs holding a trash bag. "You know you wouldn't be on trash duty if you hadn't skipped out on the quince to get drunk on the beach." Stef said walking by.

"I told I'm sorry, I was going through something." I tried to get her to remove my punishment. "So you say and until you can tell us what upset you you're grounded." She kissed my forehead.

I sent her a smile and left to pick up trash. "No, you know there's no girls allowed in your bedroom unless one of us is up there." I rolled mt eyes watching Jesus try to sneak Lexi to his room.

"Sonwe Have to sit here and hang out with your lame friends?" He whined.

Lena looked at me. "You guys can pick up trash with Olivia." Jesus scoffed. "She's doing that cause she's grounded though." Lena shrugged handing them bags.

"Why does she have to be here?" Marianna asked as I sat by her. "Cause they're dating." I said in quotes.

"I know its hard but she's your best friend." Lena sat by us. "Not anymore." She countered. "Look just like families, friends have fights." Lena tried. "And lie to your face?"

Lena sighed. "You forgave Olivia, she knew and didnt tell you." Marianna rolled her eyes. "Thats different."

"Marianna!" A boy yelled from the stairs. "Is it okay if I just lay down in kinda tired." I asked Lena. "Yeah, go ahead." I smiled weakly and passed everyone up to my room.

I ended up laying in bed the rest of the night, only talking to people when they said goodnight. I was still upset about mt fight with Jesus and I was scared, waiting for Talya to spill about Liam. Just before I fell asleep I beard Jesus climbung in through the window.

"Youre home late." I joked sitting up. "Shit, sorry Liv I thought you'd be asleep." I shrugged. "Its fine."

He turned on his lamp changing into pajamas and I easily saw thd hickeys that covered him. "You snuck out to have sex with Lexi?" I asked shocked. He froze looking at me. "Sex? With Lexi? No."

"You dont have to lie, I think its sweet you lost your virginity to your sisters best friend." I laughed.

He scoffed. "Nothing happened like that Liv, promise." I sighed. "Whatever. Goodnight." He turned off the light. "Goodnight Blondie." I smiled at the nickname, maybe we were done fighting.

"I like it bud." I said watching Marianna paint Judes nails blue the next morning. "Any new friends?" Marianna asked him. "There's one boy, Conner, he's in my math class." He grinned.

I sent small nudge to his side with a playful smirk. He glare in return. Jude had never said anything about his sexuality but it wasnt hard to miss the crushes he would develope on boys in his classes. He was to scared to say, Callie didnt exactly seem proud of it.

"Whats he like?" She asked him. "He's cool I guess." He shrugged. "You should have him over." I suggested before Callie came in.

"Dont wear that to school." She looked at his nails. Jude sighed looking down. "Ill talk to her."

I walked after Callie. "Can you stop being a bitch to Jude?" I snapped. "What does it matter if he wears nail polish or tried on a dress."

"Because I care about him." She said. "I don't care if he does it at home but remember what Jason did to him? I can't let that happen again." She said her voice cracking. "I get it okay? Just dont be so harsh."

I sat on my bed doing homework when Jesus ran into the room. "Liv? Are we okay now?" He asked sitting on my bed.

"I mean yeah I guess." I said setting my stuff to the side. "Why, whats up?" I asked. I looked back to him from papers, he was only a few inches from my face. His lips prssed against mine, instantly I kissed back. I pulled away after a minute. "What about Lexi?"

He sighed. "I dont think moms are letting it happen anymore." I furrowed my brows. "Why."

"It doesn't matter." He said pulling me back in for another kiss. I leaned in as the kiss turned more lustful. He layed me back, straddling over me. His lips traveled to my neck, sucking causing ne to moan slightly. Just as his hands trailed to the them of my shirt someone knocked on the door.

Jesus quickly jumped away pretending to look through his clothes. I grabbed my notebook back, pulling hair to cover where the hickey was.

"Just wanted to let you know I was home." Callie said looking between us suspiciously. "Nice tell me about your fate tomorrow?" I asked trying to get her to leave. "Yeah, night."

After she left Jesus came back to my bed. "No, we already almost got caught." I said putting a hand to his chest. "Please." He whined. "No. You already left one hickey and I dont need more."
