Chapter 11

On text:
"Wanna catch a bite after school?"
No reply.
"Don't ignore me, lemme explain"
No reply.
Calls.
Calls again.
Calls for the third time.
"What!?" I screamed on the phone receiver.
"Can we talk?" Daniel begged.
"Bye."
"Nonononono don't hang u-"
----call disconnected------
"hand over your phone sky" said miss B.

Not only was miss B my drama teacher but she also taught us English. She was the coolest teacher I had ever come across, she interacted with us like she was a friend. She occasionally let us text in her lesson but alas, there are some rules and I overdid it by not only attending a call when she was teaching us the trial scene of merchant of Venice but I also screamed at Daniel in the loudest tone possible.

"I'm so sorry miss B" anger took over me as I handed my phone over. It was his fault! Everything was his fault! What did he think of himself! I wanted to break that seductive face of his. It was like all my anger gathered over the span of these three weeks had accumulated and was ready to burst out. As soon as class got over I walked briskly towards Daniels locker. Just as I saw his shadow, I took him by his collar and pulled him to the side.

"What do you think of yourself huh?!"

" you think that you can use me and throw me away"

" I don't want to know you, I don't want to see you, stay away from me"

" You are just pathetic"

"I hate you"

" Ugh you kill my patience" I screamed.

"It's kinda hot knowing you think I'm capable of murder" he smirked.

"Jerk. I really loathe you!" How could he joke around when I was so angry. I hated that he didn't take me seriously.

While blurting out all these hurtful words, subconsciously I was digging my nail in his abdomen in attempts to keep a distance between us, which with each word dug deeper in his skin.

"Ouch" he said, moving himself away, that's when I realised what I was doing.
He pulled his shirt half up and to see his gaping wound, my nail had dug deep enough to cause him to bleed quite a bit. I couldn't help but look at his abbs, actually it was more like STARE at his abbs.
"Stop checking me out, I know I'm sexy but whatever" he smirked.

" jerk !! "

I turned around and started moving away when he held my hand and pulled me back towards him, leaving only a few centimetres of gap between both of us .

"Sky please let me explain, I need to talk to you, I can't see u hurting" he sounded like he was desperate.

"Daniel I-i ca" I was interrupted by a familiar voice.

"Am I missing something?" Said brian with a raised brow.

"Oh no Brian, I was just leaving. "I answered.

"Come honey" he came towards me, wrapped his arm around my waist like he was marking his territory or something.

We both left together, leaving Daniel there. I turned for a second to see Daniels expression and he was looking at me like he expected me to leave Brian's side and come back to him. But I wasn't born to fulfil his expectations.
