I squinted my eyes to block the sunlight from coming through. Ugh. I don't wanna wake up. I raised my hand in front of my eyes and that's when I realized there was an arm wrapped around me. I furrowed my brows and turned my head to see Landon. This is really weird.
''Landon!,'' I yelled. He layed still in the same position, not moving a muscle. ''Lan..don!,'' I yelled out again. His arm twitched a little then his eyes fluttered. Slowly his eyes opened and his eye brows furrowed.
''Yeah?,'' he asked in his sleepy voice.
''Why are you in my bed? Cuddling me?,'' I asked in a freaked out tone.
''Don't get your panties in a twist. That's weird Len. You came in yesterday crying and you fell asleep. I didn't wanna bother you so I was letting you calm down. Then you woke up in the middle of the night and started crying again. Obviously it was loud if I could hear you in my room. So I waited a little to see if you would stop. You did, kinda. I couldn't let you lay there and cry so I came in here to ask you what was wrong but you were falling asleep so I just layed here with you. I was being a good older brother,'' he explained. I smiled and kissed his forehead.
''Thanks.''
''Mmhm. Now why were you crying?,'' Landon asked me propping himself up on his elbow.
''A boy-,'' I started.
''Name and address,'' Landon cut me off.
''Ugh, no Landon. He didn't do anything. I like him, but he doesn't like me back. And he told me he doesn't want a girlfriend yet he's always flirting with me. Or maybe I think he's flirting with me. Ugh, I don't know,'' I sighed and buried my face in my hands. Landon sat up and put his arm around me. Thank God hes's wearing a shirt or this would be even more awkward.
''Don't stress yourself out over this sis. This guy doesn't seem like hes worth it. Who is it?''
''I don't wanna tell you yet,'' I mumbled into my hands.
''Ok. Well I think you should shower. You smell funny. And it's the afternoon,'' Landon said getting up.
''You smell funny,'' I retorted sticking my tongue out. Landon chuckled and left. I slumped my shoulders and sighed. Maybe I'm overexaggerating. Maybe Moises isn't flirting with me and I just want him to flirt with me. I don't know. I got out of bed, went into my closet and pulled out a maroon knit pullover sweater that was raised a bit in the front. It had white skulls all over. Very hipster looking. I got black tights from my drawer along with underwear and a bra.
I threw my clothes out onto my bed and then walked into my bathroom, started the shower, washed my hair, face and body then turned the water off. I wrapped my towel around my body and walked into my room. I got dressed and turned music on. Superhero by Cher Lloyd came on and I hummed along to it. Then I brushed my hair and put morraccan oil in it. I'm not going anywhere so my hair's fine. I threw my other clothes in the laundry basket, grabbed my phone and went downstairs.
''Goodmorning sweetie,'' my mom greeted from the stool at our counter. She was reading Cosmopolitan magazine and she had a bowl of fruits next to her along with a cup of coffee.
''Morning mom. Is dad here?,'' I asked pouring orange juice into a cup.
''No. He said he won't be home till tonight,'' my mom answered.
''That's what he always says,'' I whispered to myself. I grabbed a banana then went back upstairs. I set my cup on my table and slouched on my bed. I went on my phone and opened Instagram. I held the banana next to my ear pretending it was a phone, opened my eyes wide and formed my mouth in the shape of an ''O.'' I took the picture, left it normal then put at as the caption ''Hello? Anybody there?'' I posted the picture then ate the banana.
