The next day.

George got woken up from his sweet sleep by a familiar, annoying sound coming from his bed side table. His iPhone alarm clock that screamed 8:00 am. Thank God it was a later shift than normal.

He pulled himself up and forced his legs to carry him to his bathroom. He got all sorted, got dressed and was out of the house in 15 minutes.

He went to work as every other day, everything felt normal nothing out of the ordinary. The pub that George worked at was never too busy on the week days, especially in the mornings.

All was going well, George was moving swiftly from behind the counter pouring beer into large glass mugs while greeting the incoming. He was a pro at his job.

He heard a ding at the door. As he was about to greet his new customer, he was met with a pair of familiar green eyes staring right back at him making their way to the counter.

"One beer please" says the dirty blonde while sitting down at the stall.

Ignoring his request, George responds with "what are you doing here, and how did you find me?"

"Oh you know. I just found a random pub and wanted a beer, and to remind you about later today of course." He said with a wink before downing the whole mug, wiping the corner of his lips and exiting. It all happened so quickly.

George just stood there for a second trying to process what had just happened.

How did he know?

The rest of the shift went by quite quickly and as the hours flew by, the more anxiety grew in George.

It was now 5:30 pm and the shift was over half an hour ago, so George was back at his apartment getting ready. Ready for what? He didn't know himself.

Before he knew it, the clock hit 6:00. The sun was about a quarter it's way down but it barely peaked from behind the tall buildings. The sky had started turning that same pink and orange variation George had seen earlier that day on the bench.

It's 5 past he should be here right?

The brunette made his way out the door and surely enough, there stood Dream.

"Hmmm 5 minutes late I see" the familiar voice spoke with a hint of annoyance, but George knew he was joking. "Come on let's get going getting dark we're gonna miss the sunset!" Dream said now with a chuckle and a playful manner. "But first... put this on."

He handed George a blind fold.

"Why? You know, I've been a sunset before it's not much of a surprise." he said with a puzzled look.

"Yeah okay but you have to put it on. For meeeee?" The blonde said forming puppy eyes.

It wasn't long before George felt they were inside. Then after a few minutes back outside. He was clearly puzzled and scared a little, but he trusted Dream. He didn't know why but he trusted him.

He then felt Dream's hand leave his back and move to the back of his head. With no eyesight, all of George's senses were heightened so this made him jump a little. The hand untied the blindfold and George slowly opened his eyes. He soon realised they were on top of a very high building roof, but the thing that caught his attention was the biggest variety of colours on a late evening sky he had ever seen. It was magical.

Without thinking twice, the brunette turns around and runs into the blondes arms forcing a long hug. He had never felt this special, even if it meant nothing to Dream. In that moment, George forgot about all of his worries. With Dream he forgot about all of his worries.

Dream watched George's astonished face with a proud smile when they pulled away just looking at each other for what felt like eternity. Their faces were just a few inches apart. It felt like the perfect time to share a kiss, it was as if magnets were pulling them together but apart at the same time. George however broke away right as their lips were about to touch.

"Thankyou this is beautiful" he said with a disappointing smile and went to sit down against the edge.

What on EARTH am I doing?!   George thought to himself.   Stop he doesn't like you like that.

But deep down, George knew what he saw. He saw Dream blush. When they were centimetres apart, Dream blushed, his eyes widened, it's like they mirrored each other. But George just thought it was a coincidence. A stupid coincidence.

That night they ended up staying up and watching the stars, laying right next to each other for warmth. It felt perfect.
