End of summer & the letter

Y/N POV

It's almost the end of summer so that means, you're almost starting your 5th year at Hogwarts.

Now here you were, hanging around with your adoptive father Remus Lupin. You were playing some games and drinking a LOT of hot chocolate milk, because that's his favourite.

"Y/N are you going to visit the Weasleys once they're back from Egypt?" Your dad asked.

" I think I am, only if that's okay with you though. Are you sure you don't want me to go with you to the station?

"Yes of course pumpkin, you know I will find my way around." He said smiling. "So what are the plans for your last few days here?", he asked. "I was thinking about having a picknick and maybe watch some muggle movies?" You answerd.

"Well that's an amazing idea why don't I make us some food and when I'm done we can go sit in the garden." Remus said with a smile.

"Well that was lovely", Remus said smiling. Than all of a sudden he looked a little sad and worried.

I saw him looking over at the paper. "Whats wrong dad?" His expressions softened when he looked at you. "Have you heard?" "Heard what?"

Sirius, your father.. he... he escaped, from Azkaban. "WHAT? Where did you read that?" You said in a hopeful yet confused tone. "I read it in the Daily prophet dear." He said.

"You do know he's innocent do you?" "Yes I do, I know he's innocent, but it's just ..."

"What pumpkin?" "I'm just a little scared because of all the horrible things they write about him, I mean what if it is true?"

"Oh my dear, please don't doubt your father, those are all lies." He said as he stepped a little closer to you and took your hands in his. "You shouldn't believe any of the things they are saying about him okay?" "Okay dad." you said smiling back and went to your room.

A little while after being in your room you heard Remus call your name and made your way downstairs. "The Weasleys' bird just came flying in, I think he has a letter for you pumpkin." He said smiling, you returned a smile and read the letter.

Dear Y/N/,

We're finally back from Egypt :)) And we missed you so so so muchhhhhh. I hope you're doing well! Fred and I were wondering, if you wanted to come visit us? In a few days we're going to The Leaky Cauldron in London. Harry and Hermione are here too. But if you want to come over a little sooner, you can come to The Burrow :)).

You know our parents would love it if you would stay with us for a few days. They too miss you a lot. (I think mum loves you more than she loves me.) 

If it's okay with Remus you can stay with us until we leave for school ? 

I hope we'll see you soon because it's getting quite boring without you here ;) .

You let Remus read the letter George sent you and asked if you could stay with them. Of course he said you could go, so you wrote George a letter back.

George's POV

"George!! Errol has a letter for you, it's from Y/N" Fred yelled. He opened Y/N's letter and started reading it.

"Dear George,

I'm doing great now that I hear from you ;).

 I'm so glad that you're back, I missed you all so much!! If it's okay with you, I'll be there tomorrow around 4PM ? I hope you all had a great time in Egypt and that you didn't cause too much mischief ;).

"Fred, Y/N says hi, she's coming tomorrow around 4PM. Godric, I can't wait to see her again." George said a little too loud so that his twin could hear.

"You are absolutely smitten about that girl Georgie" Fred said smirking at him. "Oh shut up!" George  said while pushing him off the couch. He than laid himself down on the couch, his arm beahind his head and his hand, still holding the letter, resting on his chest. He started thinking about what his brother said.

'Fred couldn't be closer to the truth, George had been crushing on his best friend for years. At times it would seem as if she liked him too, but that couldn't possibly be true. Whatever would she see in him? He was only George Wealsey, her best friend.' 

Y/N POV

It was finally the next day. You couldn't be more excited to see your best friends again. It was still pretyy early, so you decided to pack your trunk and after that, you went downstairs to go make some breakfast.

You were trying to be as quiet as possible, because Remus really needed his sleep right now. It was almost a full moon, so you made sure that he could get as much sleep as he needed. Being the clumsy person you are, you bumped into a chair, it fell over and it sounded like a loud bang.

Luckily Remus kept sleeping and you started making breakfast. You made some hot chocolat and baked some croissants.

Around 10 am Remus woke up and walked into the kitchen. "You didn't have to make breakfast pumpkin, it's me who has to look out for you, not the other way around." He said smiling while he shook his head. He knew, every time around the full moon you would get very protective over him.

"I really don't mind dad, see it as a thank you for being there for me." You said smiling at him. "How about we watch another movie while we have breakfast, let's make the best of your last hours here." He said giving you a smile. He's been really obsessed with this movie 'the bodyguard', so of course we had to watch that one again.

It was now almost 4PM, you took your stuff and you went down. You quikly said your goodbyes to Remus and gave him a big hug.

"Cause some mischief but not too much Pumpkin." he said smirking at you. "Can't make any promises Moony." You said with a wink, you than took some floo powder while yelling, "The Burrow!"
