THE BOOK OF OAK

CHAPTER ONE

It's the year 2030 at 3:45 pm at least that's what they told me, I woke up with no one in sight but a lot of monitors and cords attached to me. The monitors when off as I ripped them off me and got up I don't know where I am. Or what I'm doing here I was about to take my first until a nurse came in the room "Hey... Hey hold on get back into bed page doctor fluke tell him that his patient is awake" she says as she stands as in front of me and I sit down she then proceeds to say "do you know where you are can you tell me your name"

 I try to speak but it only comes out as half words "I...I don't know" " which one don't you know who you are or where you are" "both," I say Remembering nothing from my past and only the present that's now unfolding in front of me, As She then proceeds to tell me "well it's 2030 the time is and your awake, you been in a coma for two months you probably can't walk..." the doctor came in "Hi it's nice to meet you my name is doctor fluke its nice to see you final awake follow the light," he says as he flashes the light in front of me. 

 "ok your all good so can you tell me your name," he says as he pushes the pen in this pocket " I don't know I can't remember anything" "ok can you tell anything about like a favorite food or something" " I don't know " " ok one step at a time I think you may have amnesia I'll just need to run some more tests" he ran some more tests and then he diagnosed me with amnesia. Then he said "I'll give you time alone to process everything" and left the room. Three hours later the doctor came in with someone, someone I didn't recognize. She looked shocked, shocked to see me awake but who is she, and why is she here. she came into the room and stood there. While the doctor tells her that I have amnesia can't remember anything.

 he then said "we'll just give guys some time" As the doctors walked out of the room she came up to me " we need to get you out of here it's not safe for you here some very bad people are after you" who is she and who are these people that are after me why am I here out in the open if I'm in danger and why is she here now after two months of me being here to tell me that it's not safe for me to be here "what do you mean I've been here for two months and I'm fine," I say assuming that shes my family member or something " you weren't awake then, can you walk" "no but, who are you" " that's not important," she says as walks out the room and came back with a wheelchair " look"

 she says as she points a matching tattoo that we both have "now can you please get in" I do as she's saying because somehow I trust her. she seems so familiar and the tattoos are even more so making me believe what she saying might be true " you have been gone for awhile so how about I catch you up once we're out of here" As she says this the doctor came back in the room "what are yo..." he didn't even get the words out before she kicked him in the face leaving him paralyzed on the floor. She pushed me out into the hallway and to the elevator and out the door, I expected to see light from the sky or something but when I got out there it looks like a tunnel, were in a tunnel underground 

 " Are we in a tunnel?" I asked out of confusion "where underground because there is a war going on, on the surface, I'm taking you somewhere safe" she says as she's pushing me through this underground city. there were people in tents and cooking food over makeshift fires for as far as the eye can see, she walked and walked for miles and miles to what seems like the end of the tunnel, we then came up to a door with a code she entered in the numbers 25699 and it opened she pushed me through, there was an elevator, when we got in the elevator she pushed 26th floor " where are we going, why is it that I'm so important" I say as the doors open I look around and it was like, an underground agency there are people training and fighting but everyone stopped as soon as they saw me, what is the place.
