Today was the day I started high school in this odd, green town. As my father drove down the slippery streets, I looked out at the damp town. It seemed so lifeless. No light, no happy faces. Cold. Extremely cold and still.
As we arrived at Forks High School, two deer emerged from the dark forest, causing my dad to swerve a little. It jolted me forward and I hit my head on the dashboard. "Y/n! You alright?" my fathers voice calls out. "Yeah, Dad."
I pick my head back up only to feel liquid above my left eyebrow. "Hun you're bleeding." my dad says. I lift my hand to feel the blood dripping down my face. "Can I have a towel or something?" He hands me a dirty rag that looks like it has sweat all over it. I nod my head and get out of his truck.
What a great way to start my day. I start to walk over to the school which looks like a bunch of buildings stuck together. Then, I felt little raindrops on my hair. Of course it had to rain. It always does in this stupid town.
Across the lot, I see a group of people standing by their cars. They were all very beautiful. With great posture too. I noticed their eyes on me. I feel a shiver go down my spine. The one was taller, and more "buff" than the others. He had a short hair cut. The girl that stood next to him had platinum blonde hair. She clang to him like a magnet. Then there was a little one, she had a pixie hair cut and reminded me of a fairy. She was with a taller man, with dirty blonde hair. Next to them, alone, stood a boy. He had bronze hair. He was less bulky than the others, tinier you could say. He was absolutely gorgeous.
They all were still staring at me. Unnaturally. I quickly turned away and continued my way to the school. I could still feel eyes on me. I turned back, to see them again, but they were gone. Completely out of sight. Weird.
When I turn back around, I see the bronze haired boy again. Almost an inch away from my cold face. "Hello." The boy said. His voice sounded angel like. Smooth and calm. He speaks again. "I'm Edward Cullen. I saw your forehead was bleeding. I wanted to make sure you were okay." His face was beautiful and caught me off guard. He waved in front of my face to take me out of my trance. "Oh, uh, hello. I'm y/n. And I'm fine, just a little cut." He nods and looks at my wet clothes. "Didn't come prepared for the rain, I see." He spoke like he was from another time. "Yeah haha,"
His eyes were a golden brown. A beautiful golden brown. They didn't seem human like.
He nodded, once again, and started to walk away. I stood there like very still. What the hell just happened?
