Nobodies POV
Ezra enters the kitchen when he freezes. Charlie was talking happily with Arthur.
Suddenly a hand snatches him, startling him.
Xander covers his mouth. "Just stay behind me and he won't see you." Xander whispers
....
Upstairs.
"Harry!" Hermione yells
Harry looks up the stairs and sees Ron and Hermione standing on the landing. He mounts the stairs to both of them, grinning.
Hermione throws herself on Harry in a large hug, laughing.
"Let him breathe, Hermione!" Ron exclaims "Oh, Harry! We've missed you! Are you furious with us, I bet you are!" Hermione ask "HERMIONE!" Ron exclaims
Hermione lets Harry go and takes a deep breath. "Good to see you, mate." Ron says "Come on, inside." Hermione says
They enter an adjacent bedroom.
They sit down on separate beds. "Sorry I haven't written, Harry, but Dumbledore made me promise not to. He thought they would get intercepted." Hermione says
There is an awkward silence. "Right." Harry says "He thought you would be safest there." Hermione says
Ron lifts his hand. "I visited." Ron says, making Hermione shoot him a look.
"I live in the Muggle world, the Potters don't." Hermione whispers, harshly.
Ignoring them. "Yeah, real safe. Attacked by Dementors, that's safe, that is." Harry says "He was so angry when he heard. It was...scary... " Hermione says "So, why's he keeping me in the dark?" Harry ask
Hermione and Ron look awkward. "Didn't you bother asking?" Harry ask "We've only seen him twice, and not for very long. He's really busy." Ron says
"So I get to spend the summer in the dark, doing nothing while this was going on." Harry says "It's not that fun, mate. Mum won't let us anywhere near the meetings." Ron says "You've still been here!" Harry exclaims
Hermione and Ron are looking aghast at Harry. Harry looks away. There is a silence. "What's been going on?" Harry ask "We've already told you, we're not privyed to the meetings. But we do know a few things." Ron says
"Some of the Order are following known Death Eaters, like Lucious Malfoy. And they're guarding something." Hermione says
"What's this Order everyone's talking about?" Harry ask "The Order of the Phoenix. Dumbledore started it last time to fight You-Know-Who. He only reorganized it after last term." Hermione says
Suddenly the twins appear on either side of Harry, startling him.
"Thought we heard your dulcet tones." George says "Don't bottle up your anger, Harry; let it out!" Fred says
"Anyway if you're all done shouting..." George says "--want to hear something really interesting...?" Fred asks

Moments later.
The meeting has just ended. Wizards and witches murmur in troubled tones as they exit the Parlor. Just above the door we find a floating disembodied ear...it cups in, listening to the shadowy figures still inside...
Thankfully for Ezra, Charlie seemed to be avoiding him too.
"...if it wasn't for Harry we wouldn't even know Voldemort was back! He isn't a child, Molly!" Sirius yells
"...Well he's not an adult either! He's not James, Sirius." Molly says
Ezra cringes. Elijah had his face in his hand, exasperated, Liza was seated besides him, rubbing his arm.
We rapidly ascend the Ear's flesh-colored cord to the landing above--where the twins and the trio are gathered tightly around the other ear. Ginny silently joins them, mouths hi to Harry.
"Well he isn't your son!" Sirius yells
"He's as good as! Who else has he got?" Molly asks "He's got me!" Sirius yells
Harry flushes with gratitude; Hermione smiles.
"You guys seem to forget I'm his actual family." Elijah booms, exploding.
"Dad." Ezra stresses, grabbing his fathers arm.
Fred tightens his hold on the ear, he hadn't heard from Ezra all summer. George clears his throat and he loosens his brothers hold on the ear, sending him a scolding look.
"How touchingly paternal, Black. Perhaps Potter will grow up to be a felon, just like his Godfather." Snape says
"You stay out of this, Snivellus-" Liza sneers "mom!" Ezra scolds
Sirius chuckles. "Right on Eliza." Sirius cheers "I love your mom Ezra." Xander whispers
