You children are dumb lmao. y/n is bisexual, but her and Katsuki are a hetero couple, making them a straight couple lmao. Also y/n clearly said the hair thing happened 1st year when they were like 15 lmao
Therapy was awkward.
The first session that is. You sat across from a woman with pale skin and short black hair. She wore a nice dress, and she was very pretty to be a older woman. Even so, you still didn't feel like talking.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" She asked. "What's your name again?" It wasn't a rude thing, but it was your first time meeting her. "Dr. Ichika Hagiwara." She told you while crossing her legs. "Sorry, I just don't know what to talk about." It was a half-truth at best. There was so much you could talk about, but it was weird just telling it to a stranger.
"You don't have to start off with the deepest darkest part of your soul. Just talk about something l/n." Ichika told you. A sigh left your mouth before you leaned back on the couch. "I'm thinking about getting off of birth control. Is that something?" You asked as you looked at her. "It's a start. Why do you want to do that?"
"I don't know really. I'm pushing thirty soon and I already got two kids. I've been married for six years, so what's the point really?" "So are you indicating you want more kids?" That made you look at her with confusion. "I mean, no? Me and Katsuki have never talked about having another baby. Our son just turned three months old. Also my friend is trying to have a baby and I think that's kind of inconsiderate."
Ichika nodded before leaning back a bit. "How are your kids?" "Good. My daughter was sick two weeks ago but she's fine now." "Does she get sick a lot?" "No. She just caught it from her friend. They're fine too now." You tapped your knee as you listening to the rain outside.
"It's bullshit it's raining right now. It's fucking July." "The weather is a weird thing." Your eyes looked out the window, watching the drops fall against the window. "My mother used to love the rain." It was random, but the sound of rain reminded you of her.
"Why'd she like it?" "She liked the sound. She would always say 'La lluvia nunca suena igual. Es único cada vez que lo oyes. Quiero ser único como la lluvia algún día.' everytime it rained." "I don't speak Spanish." You looked over at Ichika and gave a small oh.
"Right, sorry. It was 'The rain never sounds the same. It's unique every time you hear it. I want to be unique like the rain one day.' I think she was unique, even more than the rain." You gave a small smile thinking about your mother. She was always so optimistic.
"Does she still talk about the rain?" "She actually passed away years ago." Ichika was taken aback a bit but just gave a slight shift. "I'm sorry for your loss." "It's alright. I don't think she'd like how I turned out anyway." "Why's that?" You sighed a bit. You couldn't be mad at her, this was just her job.
Normally you wouldn't have said anything about it, but you were doing this for Katsuki and the kids. "I mean yeah I'm a pro hero with a family and that's nice, but that's just the cut and dry version of it. I've been through so much since she died, and when I was young I blamed her when she didn't even do anything wrong. She was a wonderful mother, and the person I should've been mad at is my father."
Instead of pausing and waiting for the question you knew she was about to ask you kept talking. "He's the one who put me through all that shit. My mom died so young. She had her whole life ahead of her and died at twenty-four. I'm twenty-seven, I outlived my fucking mother. That shit hurts. Meanwhile my father still gets to live when he hasn't done a goddamn thing to deserve it."
You didn't even notice you'd started crying until Ichika handed you a tissue box. Taking one out, you wiped your eyes and took a breath before continuing. "It's like, my whole life I've resented him for the shit he's put me through. But at the same time I wanted his validation. It was like I wanted him to love me because as a child you want that from your parents. I was always chasing after someone who didn't even want anything to do with me."
"Didn't you say he was still alive?" You gave her a soft nod as you threw a tissue away. "Why don't you talk to him then?" Your eyes looked at her with the most confused look you could muster. "You want me... To talk to the man that ruined my life?" Watching the woman in front of you nod felt so wrong to you.
"You obviously have something you want to say to him. Inside you have this resentment that's eating away at you. No matter how hard you don't want to forgive him, what happened to you happened years ago. You're an adult now. He has no control over what you can do anymore. He didn't ruin your life. If it was ruined you wouldn't be here right now with a job and a husband and kids. You have to say what you need to him and get it off your chest in order to start your process of healing."

You talked for about an hour until your session was over. "That's all the time we have for this week. I hope to see you next week l/n." She said as you put on your jacket. Even if it was raining, it was still warm outside. "I hope so too, I don't feel like paying for another therapist." You gave a slight chuckle before walking over to the door.
"Can I ask a question before you go?" You stopped to turn around, giving her a nod. "How many therapists have you had?" "You'd be the fifth one." After that, you walked out and went to the elevator. Once you got down you walked to the lobby and saw Mitsuki.
"There you are, c'mon so you can hold this." She put an umbrella in your hands and started walking to the door, you following along and opening it once you got outside. If Mitsuki was happy for one thing, it was that you were tall. That way she wouldn't have to hold the umbrella.
Once you were in the car Mitsuki started it and drove off. "So how was it?" "It was alright. Opened up more than usual." Mitsuki nodded as she looked ahead. "Proud of you. Agreeing to go back means you want help." "I'm only going because Katsuki's sort of forcing me and I don't wanna waste our money." She stopped at a red light, moving over your grab your hand.
"Look kid, I don't care what that brat of mine is making you do. You chose to come back, not him. You're trying to get better, so don't try to make yourself think that's a bad thing." You smiled at her, surprised she was being this nice.
When you got home you could hear screaming and laughing as you approached the door. Opening it, you saw Kayoko jumping on pillows on the floor and Katsuki chasing her. "Mommy!" She yelled and jumped to you, and thankfully you caught her.
"What're you two doing?" "We playing the floor is lava. Daddy fell so he's a lava monster now. Kyoichi is just laying down since he can't play." Katsuki came over, and Kayoko giggled while clinging to you.
"Mommy keep me safe!" You balanced Kayoko on your hip while holding your hand out to Katsuki. "Sorry lava monster, but Kayoko is safe in my arms." "Yeah! Mommy's safe!" Katsuki let out a playful groan while kicking a pillow. "Guess I can't beat those rules."
Katsuki grabbed your waist, pulling you into a soft kiss. But you were confused by the smug look on his face when you pulled away. "You're a lava monster now." "What?!" Kayoko's eyes went wide as you turned you look at her. "You heard the man, I'm a lava monster now. Nothing personal kid." Kayoko burst out into laughter as you and Katsuki both tickled her, she had to get out of your grip and fall down.
Right after realized what happened once she touched the floor. "I'm a lava monster now!" She pouted before sitting on one of the pillows. "Aww don't be sad Peanut, that just means we get to be a lava monster family." You said as you kissed her cheek. Seeing her cheer up and pretend to be a monster made you so happy. Watching your whole family be happy in general was a wonderful sight.
You wanted to get better for them.
