Dear Diary,
I kept it a secret from Oikawa for three days until I couldn't anymore. I told him. He took it a lot harder than I expected.
I don't why, but it made me happy.
Maybe because it gave me reassurance that I really did mean that much to him— something I always needed... even back in high school when we first started dating.
The thought of him having to remember all those times we spent together while I wouldn't be able to was like a punch to the gut.
Oikawa held me in his arms, whispering how much I meant to him, and I could tell by the way his voice shook he was trying his best not to cry... because I already was, and he wanted to be there for me.
One of us had to be strong for the other.
That was something we always told each other.
I was going to forget him, he was going to become a stranger.
Even if I write all these moments down, it wouldn't be the same. I would never be able remember all those moments we shared together.
I'm sorry, Tooru.
