The Start Of A New Beginning

Shado was born in a lava terrain in a clan called Obsidian. Every Manokit hybrid that lived in the clan was usually very calm and productive. The males usually where aggressive and teaching the young ones to fight. They only taught the female defense so if they ever had to take care of young ones when they got older, they could protect the future generations from any dangers that lay ahead. Shado usually hid from the males. To be honest, he was scared of them. They where much bigger and muscular than he was which told him they where dangerous. He would usually stay in the elders den as he was told stories of the outside world. He enjoyed the stories he was told. He wanted to see the outside world but...His father, Lucifer, wouldn't let him leave

He ran over to his father as his father looked at him. His father was aggressive with his words."Do you need something?" Shado thought for a second so he had a chance to choose his words wisely "You said Mom would come back. Why hasn't she come back yet?" Lucifer glanced as someone walked past him before looking back at Shado "Your mother isn't coming back! She'll be killed if she does! I thought I've told you this already! That bitch of a woman would have spoiled you! And i need you for..." He paused and sighed. Lucifer stood up as he signaled for him to follow him. Shado did as he was told and followed his dad into his work building about 30 mins from the his clan. His dad led him to a room and Shado glanced at the only thing in the room. There was but a single bed as he glanced back at his dad. Lucifer aggressively slammed the door shut as the loud noise scared Shado so much he yelped in shock and jumped behind the bed peeking over it. He heard the lock on the other side of the door. His heart was racing as he was processing his situation and his surroundings. "Hello? Can anyone hear me?" His voice echoed a bit around the room as he heard loud clanking outside his room. "It seems no one can hear me in hear...but...I can hear them" He thought back to the kids who where training before. "This could be an advantage..." He sighed exhausted from all the walking/running on his way over here. He felt tears form in his eyes as he hugged his knees wishing he was back at home. The door unlocked as he quickly turned his head and peeked over the bed. He regretted his choice as soon as he came face to face with his father. His fathers eyes where nothing like before as he glared at his son. His iris and sclera in his eyes where black. His pupils where red as Shado jumped back in fear. "AAHHHH! W-Wha- DAD?!" Shado was struggling to breath as Lucifer walked over to him carrying different kinds of chains

Shado backed up into the corner as he blocked his eyes. His hands where shaking violently as he tried to calm his breathing. Tears ran down his face as his dad grabbed him and pulled his wings out so he could cuff them since he kept them tucked in and hidden from the naked eye. Shado couldn't fly away since his wings where cuffed. His dad also attached a chain to his left leg as he attached the other side to a hook in the floor. Lucifer looked at him again as he pulled Shado by the hair making themselves face to face. His eyes returned back to normal as he smirked a bit. "Your never escaping here...EVER. Your my kid therefore I'm responsible for your care. I won custody over you....Your mother would be so disappointed if i let you leave into the dangers of the unknown...That's why you'll stay here with me. Forever. Plus these chains right here?" He tugged the one on his leg "These take a lot of strength to break them. Your only but a child. But I do wish you luck. Once you break the chains is when we get serious." Before Shado could say anything his dad picked him up and threw him on the bed before exiting the room and locking it up again. Shado ended up landing on the chain causing his nose to bleed.

Shado tugged on the chains before wiping his nose. He was so confused and innocent. He was only 10. He took a deep breath before laying down and hugging a pillow he'd found on his bed. He imagined it was someone he loved. He wanted to go home but with no idea of escaping...It was merely impossible. Especially for his age.
