Part 34 "Doomed"

CHAEYOUNG'S POV

Dubu didn't pursue his leave today because of Sana. But as expected, he will be against to his father's decision especially, at last, Sana and him get back together for real. After the scenes they made in the airport, everyone went home aside from  me and Tzuyu.

"Hey, your heart's okay?" I'm teasing Tzuyu. I know that he still love Sana but the least he can do as a friend is to forget his feelings towards her.

"Of course." He replied timidly. I just chuckled.

Few minutes later, we arrived at the hospital.

Some nurse assisted me and let me stay at the patient's waiting room. They also said that they will just call my name if the doctor is already there.

"You nervous? They gonna prick a lot of syringe on your body." Tzuyu said.

"Stop it. I'm not afraid though." He chuckled.

Then, the nurse came.

"Mr. Son Chaeyoung?"

"Yes, I'm here."

"Come and follow me. Dr. Kim is already at his clinic. "

"Okay." I looked at Tzuyu to come along with me.

*Knock knock

"Come in." I heard the doctor's voice.

"Hello, come have a sit. I'm Dr. Kim Heechul, by the way." The doctor said introducing himself.

"Oh hi, I'm Son Chaeyoung and this one is my cousin, Chou Tzuyu. He's my guardian for today." I said and smiled.

"Uhm okay. Let's begin with the basic first. Your concern is you're experiencing headaches, right? When did it start?"

"I can't exactly remember Doc, but it happened not too long ago."

"Then, when you're having this headache, what are you taking?"

"Just a pain reliever."

"Come closer." He said and check my eyes as well as my mouth and ears.

"You look healthy though. But this headache of yours upon checking of what you wrote on the form, is happening frequently right? 

"Yes, doc. Is it not a good sign?" I asked and look at Tzuyu. He only nods making me calm.

"Yes, it's not a good sign but we can check it through an MRI or CT scan or PET scans." He replied and wrote something in the form.

"What are those doc? I mean there will be some diagnostic tests that I should undergo?"

"Definitely yes, to make sure that there's nothing wrong with the headaches you're experiencing. We just hope it was just nothing. It's best if we will proceed to MRI." He asked then I looked again at Tzuyu.

"Hey, don't worry. Just do it Chaeyoung." Tzuyu said and I nod.

"Okay then. Let's get ready for the MRI Scan. Nurse Lisa, come and assist Mr. Son to the changing room. And please ready the room." Dr. Kim said.

"Sure Doc." Nurse Lisa replied.

Then, I followed Nurse Lisa and get instructed. I changed my clothes into a patient's gown.

Damn, I just look like a newly-escaped  demented person. I took a selfie first, because it was my first time. 🤣 Then, I checked my phone if there's a text message from Mina, luckily none. And I know she's at her parents house today. She even don't want me to go with her.
