The 5 Day Contract

Day 1

DAY 1: December 16, 2012

Emily's POV:

It was just another normal day in my eyes. At least that's how it started. Little did I know that by the end of the day, my world was going to be altered. Not just altered, but altered by a person who I thought was my best friend. I was VERY wrong.

I got up that morning, not expecting much. Just another boring, and damp day here in London. That's how it was at first. My morning routine was in play. Get up, shower, get dressed, brush my teeth,put on deodorant, put on make up, and sit down on the couch and text Brianna.

As I finished applying my thin layer of eyeliner, I sat down and consulted my phone.

Right on time. I texted Brianna every single day. She was my life. Well i mean she would be my life, but that would require me ACTUALLY having a life. I read the text, and responded back quickly.

Bri: Hey

Me: Hey

Bri: What's going on love?

Me: Same as usual. What about you?

Bri: At my grans

Me: How sweet

Bri: Bahahaha

Me: lol

Bri: Hey Em?

Me: Hmm

Bri: I really need to tell you something........Just please listen

Me: Umm......alright

Bri: I ummm

      I think i am in love with you emily and i really want to be with you

       I should of known you wouldn't feel the same

      don't just say that because you feel bad for me and want me happy

Me: No....I feel the exact same way

Me: yeah...

Bri: Well Emily, I have a proposal

Me: and that is?

Bri: Well you know that 'the world is going to end' in 5 days

Me: yeah.....

Bri: How about a 5 day contract

       Like you could be my girlfriend for 5 days

       And if the world doesn't end, we could maybe continue this relationship

Me: I'd love that

Bri: Me too

Me: Oh and Bri?

Bri: Hmm

Me: I love you too babe!

Bri: awwww

Me: Well you know what time it is, love :(

Bri: Awh, I'm guessing its 'spend time with Daddy' time?

Me: you know it :P sorry.....

Bri: Its okay, love.....Bri understands!!

Me: Trust me, you don't!!

Bri: Oi!! Don't start now!! Off you go!!

As I put away my phone and grabbed my stuff that I would need for my evening with my dad, a genuine smile made its way onto my face. My life was going to be changed forever. I truly did love Bri. I wasn't going to hurt her. EVER!
