{~Shadow POV~}

I looked above me. Lien-da was sentenced to death by hanging. She was lucky I didn't make it worse. It still hurt seeing my friend go. She was the only one who had encouraged me when I joined my family.

With Sonic, he was heartbroken and had tried to stop me.

Lien-da even came with me. I looked to my side deep in thought. I saw my lovely mate. He was talking with a guard.

I walked up to him as he walked away from the guard. "My dear," I got his attention. He turned to me. I grabbed his waist, pulling him into my grip.

"I need some stress relief, Dear."

"L-like what?" I could tell he was scared. I smiled and nuzzled his neck and started to play with his ears.

"As you know, Lien-da, my closest friend, is going to die today, for your protection of course. But I love you more than her so I'm willing to compromise," I said.

"You... You mean it...?"  He asked, I could see tears in his eyes. 

I looked at him confused, "Why else would I kidnap you to keep you here, neither the less marry you?" I asked.

He gasped and hugged me. "S-Shadow! T-Take me!" My eyes opened wide. "I know I'm rushing it, but please! I wouldn't mind having your kids!"

"Mhm." I smiled. "Well dear, we can do that right now." I grinned.

He looked up and blushed. Quickly, I picked him up and carried him to our bedroom.

That's when the dream ended. It was like an earthquake toward my dreams. They were all being with him. I looked to my side, Sonic was still asleep on the other side of the bed. Of course, he'll curl up next to me every once and a while, but only when it was cold. Tonight wasn't one of those nights.

Sonic lay peacefully, the sunlight reflecting off his perfect blue fur, adding colors of light yellow, lavender, and a light pink to be on him. He looked stunning, and the fact that he was all mine was even better.

I looked away slowly from the beauty in front of me to look at the clock, it read 6:18. I sighed and called the guard outside of our room. He came in and bowed, "Yes, Your Majesty?" he started.

"I would like you to guard Sonic for me. Don't let him leave this room, except under my orders, he is not to leave until I say, do you understand?"

"Yes, Your Majesty."

"Have another guard bring him his meals as well," I said. I was getting ready. I took my leave and left the guard in charge. Then, I walked down the stairs to the prison. I walked by several mobians and stop at a cell.

"Commander, Lien-da"  I greeted.
