Chapter 3 - meeting him for the first time

Makenya's POV~~

My eyes opened big when I saw this man standing  in front of me looking similar to me
No no no my thoughts were running wild this couldn't be my father the same man who left me and my mother, the man who caused me so much pain.
Why would my mother even be talking to him after every thing he's done!!!

"So Kenya I want you to meet...."
"I know who he is mom! Why would you even bring him here, huh?"
"Kenya calm down and just let him explain"
"Explain what mom?? How he's been nothing but a dead beat for the whole 17 damn years of my existence?" I can't even believe toubhave the nerve talking to him"

"Kenya!" 
"You know what mom forget it "
With that I stormed off up to my room. I just couldn't believe my eyes. I know some persons might say I'm exaggerating but if you were in my shoes you'd understand.
I grow up not knowing my father everyday I'd ask my mom where my father was.
When I was a little girl she'd always say he works far away and could visit but as I grow older she knew she had to eventually tell me the truth because that story would no longer be believable .

I had to watch others having their father as support giv8ng them things and bein there for them while I'd just sit back and cry wondering where mine was.
I wouldn't say I hate him but my mom should have at least gave me a heads up before just making him show up.

After cry my eyes out I decided to call my bestie she is always there for me even tho we're miles away.

Phone call~~~~
Me:      hey
Besticles🌺💕:  ok now I know some things wrong.... What's up?
Me: someone just came by
Besticles🌺💕: ok....and?
Me: its my dad
Besticles🌺💕: wtf no u did not just say what I think you did
Hold imma facetime you

Elle and I spent over 3 hours on face time she managed to cheer me up which I knew she  would. My mom came and knocked a few times but I pretended I was asleep...

Kerry's POV

I knew Kenya wasn't sleeping she thinks she's slick. Can't fool a mother we know it all. I know I was probably wrong for bringing Calvin over without letting Kenya know first but I knew if I told her before then she still wouldn't want to see him I just thought it would be better this way.
They really need to talk though there is a lot that needs to be cleared up before anything gets out that  shouldn't.

I've been with Calvin for 17 years. I met him when i was in high school and we started seeing each other at the age of   he was 24 at the time we were messing around and I got pregnant I was underaged so I knew that if it was known that I got pregnant by a 24 year old guy then he'd be in big trouble so we had to hide the pregnancy he started dealing and just when I was to give birth news came to me that he'd been arrested.
He'd been in jail ever since and I couldn't tell my daughter that her father was locked up because getting me pregnant and doing dealing so I hid it.
Now he's out and I really want him to get a chance to meet her and let her know whats up.

I decided to go talk to Kenya . I knocked on her door but no answer..
"Kenya you can't play me for a fool I know you aren't sleeping come open the door."

I heard some ruffling then the door finally opened.
"Can we talk?" I asked her.
"If you insist" she said while rolling her eyes
"Child you better fix that lil attitude fo I fix it for you" looks like you forgot who you talking to" I said
She sat on the bed and I sat beside her.
I started speaking " look I will acknowledge that I was wrong for bringing your father here without atleast giving you a heads up but at the same time I knew if I told you before then you still wouldn't want to talk to him which is why I did it, so my appologies"
She looked at me shocked then held her chest " wow mom!! Is that an a- ap- apology I hear?  No way this is a first. Say it again I can get it on camera" she said holding the camera to my face.
