Sarah was just an ordinary girl, who went to an ordinary school. She lived an ordinary life. She had friends, Zeph, Jordyn, Elliot, Neela, Caitlin, Violet, and uh, that's all I can think of;-;.  So Sarah is a very good student in school. She does very good in math and everything else because she's smart (don't even try to deny it, Sarah). But one day, she gets a question wrong in a math test. Oh no! How could she? If you saw her, you would think her mom died or something because she just sat outside and cried, for a long time. Her friends tried to cheer her up but, it never worked.

So, Sarah, annoyed by her friend's constant rambling of "iT's FiNe. ItS jUsT oNe QuEsTiOn." which, she realized later, was comPLETLY TRUE YA DUMBY NONE OF THE WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU DIDN'T GET SO FRICKING UPSET. sorry. Went on a rant there.

Anyways, she was upset and went on a walk around the track at her school. While she was walking, she saw this stick thing. She wanted to take her anger out on it by snapping it or throwing it or something. So she picked it up and tried to snap it. That didn't work of course because plot convenience. So of course, out of pure rage, she threw it. Very far away. And that worked, sorta. I mean, she threw it, as you would expect, but, when she started to walk away, she felt something heavy in her pocket. She reached inside her pocket to find, the stick?

Confused, Sarah threw the stick again, and again and again, each time reappearing in her pocket. Sarah got even more angry. She didn't want to keep this ugly stick. She examined the stick closer and saw a small division sign on it.

'Someone carved a division sign onto this stick?' She thought. 'Maybe this is n-'. The school bell cut off her thoughts. She sighed and walked inside.

"math math boring stuff math." Mr. Teacher Dude said. "So ya anyways, get going on your addition test, this is review for all fo you so I expect good marks. Get to it." Sarah looked down at her test. It said 'ADDITION REVIEW TEST' in big letters at the top but, when Sarah looked at the questions, they were all division ones (can you see where this is going?).

Confused and concerned (I like starting paragraphs with 'confused' apparently), she raised her hand. Mr. Teacher Dude walked over to her desk. "Yes Sarah?" He said.

"Uhm, why are all the questions division questions if it says addition at the top?" Mr. Teacher Dude looks over at her paper, then sturnly at her.

"Is this some sort of prank?" Sarah is shocked he would even think that. She would never pull a prank on someone.

"No! I would never! I mean, you're a teacher! Who would pull a prank on a teacher?"

Mr. Teacher Dude sighed and walked away from her to other students. 'Why is this happening?' Sarah thinks. 'Maybe...' She pulls the stick out of her pocket. 'What are you doing to me?' Sarah does her test anyway. She knows what the sign is and stuff so she can do it. She just has to pretend the division sign is a addition sign. But what will happen when she has to do a many sign test?

She finishes her test just as the bell rings and hands it to Mr. Teacher. The next class is homeroom. She sits back down at her desk, just as Mrs. Teacher Lady walks into the class. She says something about journals or whatever but Sarah isn't paying attention. Shes thinking about that stick. She pulled it out of her pocket and looked at it again. She knew what she had to do. She had to see Local Man Joe.

So she waited, and waited, and waited, and waited some more, and some more, and more and more and more until it was finally time to go home. And then she got in her moms car and went home. Because shes twelve and can't drive herself places. So ya in the car her mom asked her the regular "hOw WaS sChOoL? dId YoU lEaRn AnYtHiNg?" which like, why do you think I got to school woman??? For my own personal choice??? Like huh??? Anyways, she got home, and ate bread then she told her mom she was going to go study at the library. But she lied. OH MY GOODNESS SARAH HOW COULD YOU?? YOU LIED? Anyways, she really went to see Local Man Joe about her problem. And what did she say? You'll have to wait for the next chapter to find out!

(A/N): So hi! This is a new book that I'm working on now. I will keep working on my other one but, I don't really love working on it anymore. So updates will be slow on it.

My friends are doing a story with basicly the same plot but different like filler things and how they find the wand and local man Joe and stuff.

As always, don't hesitate to tell me about spelling and grammar issues and I will be happy to fix them!

The people doing the same thing as me's accounts are @ssaarriiaaa and YoBrotheDragon (guys comment on this one so they know who you are :D)

I have just gotten word that they have not published theirs yet :'D. But that is ok because it will be published soon.

So anyways, please enjoy as we struggle through making this a thing!
