Angelica POV:
"Hey sis! You look amazing!" I said, walking up to Eliza.
"ANGELICA!!!" she squealed. We haven't seen each other in a few months!
With work, cooking, shopping, cleaning, Anthony and staying away from Thomas, I hardly ever have any spare time. The best part of the babys shower was that all the guests knew the baby's gender and Alex didn't know!
Eliza's rules were simple:
Don't tell Alex the gender.
Don't take the last piece of cake.
DO NOT SMOTHER ME!!!
See. Simple.
"Psst- Angelica-" whispered Alex as he walked towards me.
"Don't bother Alex. I can't tell you." I replied, knowing what he was going to ask. He looked disappointed as he walked away. I went and started talking to some of Eliza's friends.
Mia was there. Apparently she divorced Liam and was now dating some guy named Leo. She also had 4 kids which seemed like a lot since she was only 27. Her kids names (from oldest to youngest) are Luna, Micheal, Mandy and John.
Micheal and Mandy are twins and John is named after Mia's brother, John, since he past away a few years ago.
I was having a nice conversation when Eliza turned on the microphone. It made that loud screeching noise that everyone hates. After a few seconds, she got it to work and she made and announcement.
"Hey everyone! I hope y'all are having a good time but now I am going to have Alex pop the balloon so he can find out the gender of our baby!" She said.
Everyone cheered as Alex sprinted onstage. She gave him a balloon. He looked like he was about to pee himself with excitement.
"Can I pop it now Eliza?!"
"Go ahead."
He popped the balloon and sprinted around the room as blue confetti flew around.
"A SON!!! I'M GOING TO HAVE ANOTHER SON!!!" he yelled as he ran around.
I was laughing until I saw Eliza doubled over in pain.
"Uh- Alex..." I said to him, motioning toward Eliza.
He ran to her side and helped her to their car. They left and I made sure everyone left as well. I would only assume they went to the hospital.
